One very popular method around this is to simply forego pronouns and refer to the individual by their first name in every possible way. Sadly, this behavior is very obvious and has been referred to as a “microagression” in some contexts.

You will obey.

“Hey You?” is my new acknowledgement.

Actually this is what i've done the very few times i've encountered this. When i was told "i identify as this/that, please refer to me as this/that" I've replied: "I identify as religious royalty. Please refer to me as "Your Holiness. Thank you."

Only happened about two times but i wish i had a camera to film the reactions.

“… and refer to the individual by their first name in every possible way.”

I’m sure you meant “last name”, as “dead-naming” can get you fired, too. We’re quickly reaching the time when “Citizen” will be the only acceptable address, even for illegals.

My preferred pronoun is MY NAME.

I don’t answer to he/she/it.
