Counties switching to hand counting ballots as election integrity advocate provides model

Counties across the U.S. are switching to hand-counting election ballots instead of using electronic tabulation machines over concerns about the accuracy and security of the devices.

At the forefront of the transition is election integrity advocate Linda Rantz, who says her model, now being used in a Missouri county, is less expensive than critics continue to say it is.

While the security of the country's election system has always been a concern, the matter burst into the public eye in the 2020 presidential election, amid the concerns of then-President Trump and others about the reliability and transparency of voting machines.

Early this year, the board of supervisors in California’s Shasta County, with over 110,000 registered voters, decided to move to hand-counting for all of its elections, after voting in January to terminate its contract with Dominion Voting Systems over concerns about its voting machines.

We will see what the results are in the counties where ballots are actually counted rather than "tabulated" by computer.

COUNTING isn’t the problem...

VERIFYING the ballots are LEGAL is the main issue

Paxton was trouble for both parties. That’s why he had to go.

Yup, if you hand count fraudulent ballots it’s absolutely useless as an integrity/security measure, worse perhaps because of the false sense of integrity it provides.

We had 536 voters at our precinct in November, 2022, with 40+ different candidates, initiatives, etc.

Assuming a nominal one (1) minute or 60 seconds (which would be quick) to manually count each ballot—totals 536 minutes or 8 hours, 56 minutes of nothing but counting.

Polls close at 8 PM, reconciling the ballots, poll register, packing up takes about an hour. So, in this example, counting wouldn’t be completed until 5 AM the next day at the earliest.

Makes zero sense!!

Sure, if only one person counts them.

More like two persons (one from each party) counters sitting side by side as a “team” to process ballots while ensuring integrity. The process would even be slower, more cumbersome and subject to errors.

Our county already “drafts” some poll workers. With polls setting up and preparing at 7 AM and opening at 8 AM, you’re looking at a 23-hour day unless the staffing is dramatically increased.

That’s with one poll worker counting. With, two, three.. see how this works? WHAT are they teaching in school now, evidently not even simple arithmetic.

You might also want to check to see if the ballots you are meticulously counting are valid.

...and the shenanigans begin with inflated voter rolls. Followed by vote harvesting, early voting, mail in voting and a whole host of things designed to crowd out duty, responsibility, and the need to be fully informed.

You have assumed that there is only ONE person counting.

If you have nine, the work is done in an hour.

Whatever method they use the bottom line is it must be 100% auditable. Any group at all requesting an audit should come up with the exact same numbers.

Yeah, recounting fraudulent ballots will not do much good. And any method should be 100% auditable. Saying “we think this is right” isn’t good enough.

The ballots re the problem!
All the new laws allowing anyone who registers for a government program of any kind, registers for a drivers license,ANYTHING,has their information automatically sent to that States Secretary of State and placed on the voter rolls.
Illegals included, that’s millions of illegal ballots are counted, that is what has explained past election results showing the Republican winning on Election Day in California in recent elections, then days later after all these bogus ballots were counted switched the winner to Democrat.
In Georgia in the middle of the night vans pulling up with boxes of ballots,Arizona as well.
Bogus illegal ballots folks, that is the election rigging
