Russian fighters serving under the Ukrainian Armed Forces have crossed into the town of Shebekino in Russia's Belgorod region, bringing "heavy equipment" with them, Ilya Ponomarev, an exiled Russian politician—who says he is the political representative for the group of fighters—told Newsweek.
Ponomarev's remarks came on the heels of a statement from Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, who said shelling in the border town of Shebekino overnight injured at least eight people. Gladkov denied "any enemies are on the territory of the Belgorod region" even as reports emerged that tanks operated by "saboteurs" were shelling the town's checkpoint.
The Freedom of Russia Legion—formed weeks after Russia's invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, and made up of defectors from the Russian armed forces and Russian and Belarusian volunteers—and the Russian Volunteer Corps published videos on their social media channels claiming to be near or in Shebekino on Thursday morning.

Impotent Putin can’t protect Russia. His days are numbered.
Kadyrov’s personal butcher says he is going to kill Prigozhin for talking too much

War comes home to Russia. Imagine that!
All according to Putins plan /s
Putin promised the Russians stability and security if they only gave up freedom and politics.
They now have neither.
Putin was whining on Russian TV today about not getting enough sleep at night. Too funny.
Cute little stunt these guys are pulling but the Russians will find them and when they do it won’t be pretty.
Crossing the border makes it obvious that this is the beginning of WWIII unless reasonable people get control of Ukraine.
Self defense is one thing, crossing borders is quite different.
And constantly saying Putin is helpless and doomed is a mistake. He has some nasty weapons he has not used yet and it is a mistake to bait him into using them.
Drones over Muscovy
the other was a meeting with the President of Eritrea, Isaias Afewerki, whom #Putin for some reason yesterday called no other than "Papuan". The meeting of Putin's double with the Eritrean President was quite formal and also without excesses. 2/2
Prigo vs Kadyrov war is going hot. Too funny!
Russia destroyed hundreds of miles of the Ukraine-Russia international border years ago. If that wasn’t WWIII then this isn’t either.
But, Ukrainian lives don't matter to the liberal world order in this proxy war. They are the equivalent of cows or chickens sent to slaughter.
Russia is weak. Ukraine have kicked out the invaders long ago if not for the Democrats and WEF/EU’s continued financial support of Putin’s Russia.
Apparently, they’d rather be “slaughtered” than live as slaves in the filthy Russkiy Mir.
“”Self defense is one thing, crossing borders is quite different.””
Your rule is that when the country next door invades, all the fighting must be limited to only your own people and cities, and farms, and the invader’s side of the border must remain peaceful, uninvolved except for their own military use, and untouched?
Your rule would surely make invading neighbors easier, by making the invading country immune to hostilities, tactical/strategical engagements, and repercussions.
If Ukraine could use that rule, then they could have invaded Russia on February 3, 2022 and gained immunity from the war except for the forces inside of Russia.
I don’t remember, but i doubt it....because at that time it appeared to med to be a local quarrel to be settled by those in Europe.
And it should have been. I am no admirer of Putin, Russia or Ukraine. But his is exactly how Vietnam started.
Ukraine was making it very painful to Russia and Putin personally by fierce fighting in defense. I doubt that Russia wanted any more of that.
