In a series of 911 calls in December, one of Congresswoman Lauren Boebert's sons called 911, saying his father and her then-husband was, "throwing (her son) around the house."
Boebert's son, who KRDO is not specifically identifying by name or age, called 911 at 6:46 pm on December 11, 2022, according to records from the Garfield County Sheriff's Office. According to the 911 call and court documents, the boy was asking for help regarding Boebert's soon-to-be ex-husband Jayson Boebert.
Boebert's son is heard crying and breathing heavily, as he tells the dispatcher, "My dad's been f****** throwing me around the house."
The dispatcher then asks Boebert's son for his age, which the boy states, and he repeats, "He's just like throwing me around the house. I don't know why he got mad. He just started yelling at me and he started throwing me."
The boy continued crying hysterically, telling the dispatcher, "He threw me out of the house and he's yelling at me to get away."

That’s not a good policy. In my town you would get a wellness check and the cops would need to talk to the person who called.
Completely aside from the fact this was a Congressman’s home…this is how the Dahmer’s of the world continue to abuse people.
Perhaps surprisingly, Boebert is better than at least 40 GOP Senators and better than at least 125 GOP House members.

Husband sounds like an angry drunk. It had to have been pretty bad for the kid to call the cops. Unless this was a setup so the husband so he won’t get custody.
This may be so - on the other hand, we have a LOT of GOPers that are not online enough and still think the LA/NY Times and the 6 o’clock TV news are really the voice of the nation as a result.
NickCarraway is a DeSantis supporter, Boebert is an avid Trump supporter.

So sad to see, but every strong female warrior who delves into upper level politics seems to have her family crumble. Palin’s family was a train wreck, Taylor-Greene goes the divorce route, KellyAnn Conway....so many families pay a high price. I guess Ted Cruz had his share of drama as well.
Apparently, Lauren Boebert's family was always a mess.
Being in the the public eye certainly does bring any and all flaws in familial relationships to the surface boiling-the only way to put at least a partial halt to the fallout is to be super-rich, a member of a mafia/crime family-or both-unlike Palin or Boebert, Hillary just picked up another ashtray and screamed “f*** you!” while Bill ran for cover yet again...
So true. I guess I expect anything from dems and don’t think twice about it. I’m just disappointed when it happens to our good ones.
