Interest in DeSantis, of course, from big money donors. Not from the rank-and-file.

Jeb raised more money than Trump did to from the donor class but it didn't make a bit of difference.

Too late. Trump has made his bed, probably gold plated headboard, if you were given a chance to explain. /s

DeSantis doesn't call his own shots, and probably hasn't had an original thought in his head since high school.

He does whatever his handlers and financial backers tell him to do. That's how Ivy League lawyers who spend their careers in government operate.

So, you think how much money candidate get raise from establishment donors is the key to success in the primaries?

All this proves is DeSantis is bought and paid for.

You didn’t read the article, apparently. That is all small money donors, not your establishment donors. They contribute to PACs so they can donate more.

The only people that care about Trump's attack on DeSantis are establishment Republicans and/or neocons.

It is the same argument they used in 2016 when Trump ripped the establishment candidates.

Hillary raised a lot of money, as I recall. It was a lot more than what Trump raised.

Good example. And there are more. Sometimes having the most money don’t mean zip.

In current climate he needs this trend to continue until he has $100 million in the bank within a month. If not, forget it.

Yes, the establishment donors care about the base and rank-and-file conservatives but billionaire Trump doesn't...That is what you want us to believe after Trump lost a fortune and his celebrity status to fight corruption in DC and fight the political elite who are abusing their power to benefit themselves?

You're a joke. You act like Trump wasn't President and we don't know who he is.

What desantis is doing is clearly a violation of FEC regulations and mccain feingold regarding soft money campaign donations.

Except for the desantis supporters, everything Trump has done is bad and illegal, while everything desantis did is perfectly fine.

And according to desantis supporters, you should accept desantis lying to you and vote for him to be president.

And you think this is only establishment donors? Other than propaganda value why would you even suggest that, since there is no news or information to back it up. You’re a purely speculating.

I guess you didn't bother to read the article and will just stick to your typical narrative vs. fact routine.

Jeb raised more money than Trump did to from the donor class but it didn't make a bit of difference.

Oh, it made a huge difference - he used it to attack the other Republicans running assuming Trump would fizzle out - in effect helping Trump and doing nothing to help himself - people were looking for an alternative to him, not Trump. He helped them settle on Trump.

The polls, not money from establishment donors, reflect the interest in DeSantis and it’s putridly small amount.

Yes, I think 95% of the money DeSantis has gotten is from establishment donors.

His grassroots support is virtually non-existent.

RdS should hold some rallies at airports with his 757 behind him to show he has FU money and is therefore not owned by the Never Trumpers.

Plus we could see the support of 10s of thousands.

DeSantis seems like a smart smooth talker to me. I’m still going with Trump however. This country is engulfed in ruthless evil which we cannot vote away apparently. I want someone who has taken the arrows and is all elbows and punchs. To reverse the established evil in front of us requires someone who has proven he can maintain his resistance over the long haul.
