Oh oh! It turns out that actually experiencing an inflow of illegal immigrants can force even the bluest of blue state Dem politicians to risk angering their equally blue constituents. Spectrum News reports:
Gov. Kathy Hochul’s administration has identified dorms on three SUNY campuses to use as housing sites for migrants, according to a source.
The source told NY1 the plan includes a total of 1,500 beds at the University at Buffalo, Stony Brook University and the University at Albany.
An announcement is expected as soon as next week, the source said.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul
As long as it was red states Texas and Florida bearing the brunt of massive Biden-era illegal immigration, blue state Dem politicians were happy to claim that only heartless xenophobes and racists could possibly object to open borders. But when Texas and Florida started shipping a comparative few to places like Martha’s Vineyard, Chicago, and New York City, it got very awkward. Hoping that nobody would notice that only a comparative trickle of illegals was coming their way compared to, say, El Paso, they declared a crisis. And started to have to make difficult choices.
"Clearly a SUNY campus lends itself to immediate help, but long-term, we have to have it free by August. So, what happens in August?" Hochul said in an interview with Spectrum News.
Using state college dorms has a huge risk if the invaders are still in residence when students return. Forcibly evacuating them (to where?) would make for some awfully bad visuals. And what about the summer school students staying in dorms? Illegal drugs and alcohol abuse problems, as well as sex in the stairwells have been all over the hotels whch are being used to hold invaders.

That is actually not a bad idea. All of the existing students could then go to trade school, get skills and a good-paying job, while the illegals get fed up with the profs at the universities and either off them or go back home!
Who are you and what have you done with our Laz???
They will trash the dorms and cannot pay for any damages they cause.
It won’t just be evictions required when classes start. The state will have to pay for massive repairs and vandalism after these trespassing freeloaders are tossed out.
If students trash their dorms, they have to pay for the repairs. These criminals will not and cannot pay.
Not at all. Just set up tents for the students. They'll figure out how to keep warm when winter weather hits. Wouldn't want to impose that hardship on the poor souls from the tropics!
This puts to rest the false narrative on FR you have no standards when it comes to women.
One could only think that if they assumed the election was honest...
For way too many young ladies this will be a thigh opening experience...
Starting with Soros’ estate in NY.

That’s a great idea! Illegals raping the coeds that the native born refuse to rape!
Go dems! Another winning idea!!
🤮
The illegal invaders have TRASHED every hotel where they have been sheltered. Now she wants them to trash the Universities.
Have DemocRATS never heard of tent cities (in the desert, not on street corners)? Google sheriff Joe Arpio.
I graduated form the University at Albany more than 40 years ago. Illegal drugs, alcohol abuse, and sex in the stairwells were all too common back then and there were no illegal aliens to blame back then.
Definitely a two-bagger.
House them in the administration buildings, the faculty lounges, etc. Why should only the students get to interact with the illegals? Let those even more woke than the students enjoy them too.
All young male invaders put in the same area as your young daughters you pay the state to educate.
I was moving into my college dorm room. Part way into my junior year, my dorm room was robbed. The previous summer that section of the dorm had been used as housing for a social justice outreach program to show inner city kids what it was like to be in college.
Unfortunately, one of them had made a copy of the room key there were given and either used it or gave it to a friend who stole from my room.
My advice to anyone living at one of those dorm rooms is to get the locks changed upon moving it. Actually, it would be better for the college/university to rekey the locks, but that would require action on their part.
Not long before I sold a proposal was made for "affordable housing" to be placed on a small patch of open land. The citizens went ballistic! "Think about the children" was their main cry.Of course no mention was made of the dark faces.
Lastly...if you have some free time, google "Commonwealth Day School" and "Cambridge" (as in Massachusetts). It's a story about how the beautiful people of Cambridge (including Julia Child and Laurence Tribe) succeeded in driving a largely black day school out of their oh-so-progressive (and wealthy) neighborhood. It's both a funny and a nauseating story.
Wow. And so after they defecate in the halls, punch holes in the walls, tear out the sinks and bash up all the furniture, and just generally trash sthe place, what then? Will campus be ready for the little darlings come August?
I TOTALLY support this housing plan. The studenty will receive real-life evidence of the consequences of government actions AND their own support of same.
Oh please please please do this. Please make Woke professors and Woke university students come face to face with the crime that comes with housing large populations of illegals. Illegals aren’t going to respect your safe spaces. Get ready to think about how your whiteness is at fault for some illegal raping you or stealing your stuff.
= = =
And graduate them, with a PhD to go out into society and improve/solve things.
Do it! Fill them full and then the students won’t have anywhere to stay! Brilliant!
