Biden admin announces 'historic' plan to reduce western states' water supply

The agreement — reached by the so-called Lower Basin states of Arizona, California and Nevada — ensures that at least 3 million acre-feet (maf), or 978 billion gallons, of Colorado River water supplies are conserved by 2027, according to the Department of the Interior (DOI) which has worked with states to address shortages. Under the plan, at least half of that amount will be conserved by 2025.

"There are 40 million people, seven states, and 30 Tribal Nations who rely on the Colorado River Basin for basic services such as drinking water and electricity," Interior Secretary Deb Haaland said in a statement Monday.

"Today’s announcement is a testament to the Biden-Harris administration’s commitment to working with states, Tribes and communities throughout the West to find consensus solutions in the face of climate change and sustained drought," she continued.

Instead of “green” infrastructure projects the western states need desaliniazation projects up and down the Pacific coast and in the Gulf of California (between Mexico and Baja California). THAT could eliminate the need for Colorado River warter in Caiifornia and greatly reduce it in Arizona and New Mexico, leaving only Nevada in need of its traditional quota.

The only policies which interest Biden and the Democrats are those policies which inflict shortages, misery, and privation on the American people, whether it be food, fuel, or water.

California will mandate drinking water, doing dishes and flushing toilets on alternate days, with charging EVs and cooking meals and watching TV or using computers on other alternate days.

With high tech surveillance to levy fines on your income right at the bank if you disobey. The Golden State.

From agweb website:
Why can’t we pump water to California?
California alone uses the same amount of water as the entire Red River flow. Even supplying a fraction of that would take pipes beyond imagination. Canals would suffer enormous evaporative loss. The water would have to be pumped over the Rocky Mountains – a roughly 6000 foot lift.Jul 20, 2022

It is not drought….It is the cities using all the water….They were built to control flooding from spring snow melt in the Rockies….In the 1930s only a few people lived in Nevada and Arizona….LA was a small city…the water was used mostly for irrigation….they need to build more reservoirs….

Those smart water meters they installed scared people because of a potential a radiation hazard. People are stoopid.

“It is the cities using all the water”

Cities don’t use much water. In Arizona, agriculture uses 70% of all the water. And Arizona’s total water use is the same now as it was in the late 1950s. In spite of the huge increase in population.

I got my class 3 Water Operators License, required for my job in the local water company.

One seminar I had. The water never goes away. The same water we drink, swim in and clean with today was here during Jesus’ time and long before that.

It is continuously evaporated and rained down on us.

Where there is a drought there is another place getting lots of rain.

Here the lake where our water company takes from to support several communities, the sun evaporates more water from that lake in one day than the water company takes from the lake in a whole year.

You will find that to be true in your area as well no matter how big your city is, no matter how much usage.

Responded to several calls. One person took me outside because she could hear a strange sound in the sky after the smart meter had been installed.

I was wondering what the reaction would be if one day I put on a white hazmat suit and did walking meter readings house to house

Had Cali built the reservoirs they would have captured 10 years worth of water this last rainy season.
