EXCLUSIVE: Fox News has learned that more than 100 former Trump administration officials have formed a growing coalition backing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to be the Republican Party's 2024 presidential nominee.
According to multiple sources within the group, officially known as "The Eight-Year Alliance," DeSantis is "a proven winner," a contender with a depth of policy proven by what he's accomplished at the state level, and a leader who "does what he says."

And, if DeSantis will end up like Ted Cruz and won't ever be viable Presidential candidate.
He's more viable today than he will be in 2028 or any subsequent elections. If Trump wins in 2024 the Rat base will be so enraged the Republican candidate, whoever he is, will get slaughtered in 2028. Much past that and folks will have forgotten who DeSantis is or what he did to stop wokeism and voter fraud in Florida. It's now or never for DeSantis, whereas Trump will always have name recognition.
I 100% Agree
‘ Besides the grade school insults being the primary focus of the Trump campaign; we know that Trump had a dismally poor record regarding his aides and associates.’

Hypocrisy defined:
Trump hires 100 ‘bad employees’ who now support DeSantis
You can’t have it both ways, if they are good MAGA people, why did they undermine Trump? If they support DeSantis, are they still anti-MAGA?
Think past your emotions…..the signs are blatant.
Fox 'spews' did the same thing in 2000 by calling Florida for Gore before the polls had closed in the Florida Panhandle. They gave us the "hanging chad" cherry-picked recounts that a Democrat Judge ruled were legal until the Supreme Court put an end to it. A lot of people forget that, and then in the aftermath of the 2020 election, the Supreme Court conveniently ignored their decision in 2000, that the only ones that can make or change election law, is the State Legislatures. They refused to allow any hearings on voter fraud, even though many of the suits were based on government officials changing elections rules over the head of the State Legislatures.
“Over 100 former Trump administration officials back DeSantis for president: ‘A proven winner’”
Do they still think that the Hunter Laptop was “Russian Disinformation”?
Meatball has the political hacks, Trump has the voters.
When you have to resort to attacking someone's ethnicity that tells me you can't think of an actual argument against his campaign. It's amusing how you think Trump doesn't need the support of us "Meatballs" (and other white ethnics) to win in the swing states.
Maybe he's dyslexic, and spelled it wrong.
FOX has learned....and I stopped reading. That’s like getting a fact from CNN.
Ditto here. I wouldn't vote for a Rino ever again, even if he had Jesus as his running mate.
Yep, I’m still shining you on. I do like Mustangs as do most people. BTW that particular Mustang is very nice. Which model and year is it?
DeSantis is literally an unknown when it comes to how he'd behave if President. As Governor, he's never had to deal with a divided State Legislature. He's had more than a 2-1 ratio of Republicans against Democrats in both Houses. He's untested when he comes to negotiating Bills with a Democrat-controlled Legislature, so how would he act if it was a 2-1 ratio of Democrats running both Houses of Congress. It's happened before, usually during the midterm elections. Republican Presidents, after midterms, usually end up with a Democrat-controlled Congress. The rare time that Republicans lost just the House was during Donald Trump's administration during the 2018 midterms. Republicans kept the Senate, and then of course lost it.

“DeSantis is literally an unknown when it comes to how he’d behave if President. As Governor, he’s never had to deal with a divided State Legislature. “
When Trump was elected he had both houses and lost them both.
You're not alone there. I celebrated his choice, and then was extremely disappointed when he recused himself because as a Senator, he had met with Russia's Ambassador, which as a Senator is one of his jobs. But the thing that really pissed me off about Sessions, was that he never even discussed his recusal with the President before he announced it. He totally ignored the man who had honored him with the nomination in the first place.
“He’s untested when he comes to negotiating Bills with a Democrat-controlled Legislature, “
We know how Trump faired with a Democrat legislature!
Whoop de doo! I suspect then that most of these administration officials were those working against Trump during his years as President. At least he should know who not to hire for his next administration. If elected he should hire no one that has spent years in D.C. and been a part of the machine, and then turned on him. Instead, he should bring true patriots on board as he begins cutting the bureaucratic fat. He can start by firing everyone in the DOJ and FBI and putting General Flynn in charge of the hiring for those agencies.
Oh boy. These are also who made a “white supremacist” out of Larry Elder...
Can't wait to hear your excuses for DeSantis's failures when they happen...and they will happen, because nobody's perfect, despite how much you'd like them to be. At least I know where I stand with Trump. I can't say that about DeSantis, Crist, Scott, or any of the other dopes who allow their arrogance to get the best of them, and actually think any true Conservative, or Trump supporter would vote for them.
He was able to increase his margin at the state legislature. And replace RINOS with people who will pass his agenda.
I expect he’d do the same nationally. Get rid of RINOs and put in people who will support a conservative agenda.
