The Free Russia Legion, made up of Russians fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Army, has crossed into Russia in the Belgorod region and has taken control of three settlements Kozinka, Glotove, Gora-Podil
Heavy fighting is taking place for control of Greyvoron.
“When in 100 years of history have the Russians ever kept their word on anything?”
I guess you haven’t heard about the war going on in Ukraine. Russia PROMISED that for the past 35 if the West kept up their prodding...now there’s a war. Do a Google Search and you’ll find articles on it.
An armored helicopter? How robust with that armor actually be? There are weight restrictions. With weaponry and ammunition, in addition to geared up occupants those weight allowances dwindle quickly.
Sounds like another “reporter” is trying to appear semi literate on the subject.
Your points are valid but i’m not sure there is an actual possibility of a Ukraine victory or what one would even look like at this point. Can the invading Russians be appeased to continue invading in a less war-like manner by anything the Ukes do with their forces? we haven’t seen a real game-changing wrinkle to this war yet. I reckon we will know it when it happens.
Russian state media's "we just let the saboteurs enter our territory to trap them" arc has just dropped

The speaker of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Andriy Yusov said that the Legion “Freedom of Russia” and the Russian Volunteer Corps are conducting an operation in the Belgorod region to create a security zone to protect Ukrainian citizens.

Uh... where does it say that? I see "armor AND helicopters."
the growing number of BRICS nations disagree.
Send billions to Russia to thwart this illegal invasion.
Ukrainian ground troops into enemy territory to “occupy unspecified Russian border cities,”

Stupid suicidal idea - attackers always lose more troops and equipment than defenders, especially in heavy urban areas.
Russian Mi-8 helicopter crashed near Prokhorovka in Belgorod region
Who paid for the equipment the Russians of the The Legion of Freedom is using? Russia. Its captured equipment.
The world is against Russia
——-
Not so, in fact, 65 percent of the world’s population is aligned with Russia, most of South America, Middle East , China , India, ….the Sauds even gave the little beggar Zelensky a very cold shoulder when he visited the Kingdom….
Let me bring you up to speed….Count how many nations will be present at the upcoming BRICS conference….
The dying West is supporting a dying Ukraine.
The Legion of Freedom is made up of Russians who live in Ukraine and some that live in Russia - the Ukraine government has nothing to do with this group. Like many Russians, they hate the Russian Federal Government and have been committing acts of sabotage all across Russia for over a year.
Its quite possible the Ukraine government wishes they did not exist.

Are you one of his "1,141 supporters" for the "daily, fast and reliable news on conflict zones?"
I am trying not to trick you. It is my view that so little "daily" stuff is actually more than media manipulation on both sides of this latest "event" like unto previous "events," because we are in an age of "manufacturing consent" and "narratives," that it becomes advisable to be skeptical, and then more skeptical.
How the "event" transpires long term may well not be how it looks in the short term, and such as Renfrew's comment on this thread is apt. "When in 100 years of history have the Russians ever kept their word on anything?" Partially apt, because the question may well be addressed to most governments, even ours, and most media these days.
Putin informed of Ukraine ‘sabotage’ incursion: Kremlin
Russian President Vladimir Putin has been informed of a cross-border incursion by a Ukrainian “sabotage” group, the Kremlin said on Monday.
Peskov said the incursion was designed to “divert attention” from Bakhmut and “minimise” Ukraine’s loss of the eastern city, which Moscow claimed to capture.

After a year of Ukrainian suffering therevis no reason why Russians should get to sleep soundly at night. Besides, the obvious target here is Belgorad and it is a legitimate military objective.
One notes that anews.com.tr is Turkish, while publishing in English.

Quite a tit-for-tat game is being played, and likely the "incursion" or "sabotage" depending on the view held, is part of the larger "messaging" going on as the "event" continues. Certainly, Latvian and Turkish news operating in English testifies that this is "outreach" to English-reading audiences, because a Latvian. Lettish-reading audience is tiny, and a Turkish audience is not available to most English-speaking readers.
Obviously these "news" items are intended for the English-speakers, but it still comes down to forecasting the end of a football game by the second play of the first quarter. Time will tell. But what? We'll see.
The Free Russia Legion has taken more territory in one day than Putin has taken in 3 months! Too funny!
I understand you're joining?
Well at least the town hasnt been reduced to rubble.
