Putin informed of Ukraine ‘sabotage’ incursion: Kremlin
Russian President Vladimir Putin has been informed of a cross-border incursion by a Ukrainian “sabotage” group, the Kremlin said on Monday.
Peskov said the incursion was designed to “divert attention” from Bakhmut and “minimise” Ukraine’s loss of the eastern city, which Moscow claimed to capture.

Quite a tit-for-tat game is being played, and likely the "incursion" or "sabotage" depending on the view held, is part of the larger "messaging" going on as the "event" continues. Certainly, Latvian and Turkish news operating in English testifies that this is "outreach" to English-reading audiences, because a Latvian. Lettish-reading audience is tiny, and a Turkish audience is not available to most English-speaking readers.
Obviously these "news" items are intended for the English-speakers, but it still comes down to forecasting the end of a football game by the second play of the first quarter. Time will tell. But what? We'll see.
