President Trump’s MAGA Inc., responded to the news that Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., had filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Friday, indicating his likely imminent intent to run for the office of the presidency in 2024.
CEO of MAGA Inc., Taylor Budowich, stated, “Ron DeSantis’ failed shadow campaign has opened the flood gates for career politicians looking to seize an opportunity to raise their profile ahead of the 2028 race. Tim Scott’s entrance, and aggressive media purchase, doesn’t only kneecap DeSantis, but Scott sees the same thing as Youngkin, Sununu, Burgum, Christie, and others: the path to 2nd place is wide open.”
According to the Washington Examiner, Sen. Scott is expected to make an announcement regarding his potential 2024 presidential candidacy next week, when he is poised to run $6 million in advertising in Iowa and South Carolina.
MAGA Inc. highlighted four major bullet points that “conservatives need to know about Tim Scott” amid news of the senator’s likely presidential bid:
President Trump is the frontrunner for the 2024 GOP nomination in the primary political polls so far. As reported by RSBN, Trump is leading by a staggering 45 points in the latest Rasmussen poll that surveyed 2024 GOP primary voters.
Sen. Scott’s likely presidential bid is poised to coincide with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s (R) 2024 campaign, which is rumored to kick off next week.
He’s doing this to help Trump and position himself for a better gig.
Trump will get his voters. The number 2 challenger will come up short because people like Tim Scott peels off a few from any Trump challenger.
Only one candidate allowed. This is the new America....according to Trump.
Since everyone has known for 6 months that Tim Scott would run, the news release from MAGA is blatantly false. We expect more honesty from MAGA and all conservative voices. When we wage dis-information like the other side we become the same as them and are no better than them. MAGA was better when it stuck to name calling.
I guess you are a worshipper of totalitarianism. It is people like you who are ruining our political system. Left or Right your attitude is pure totalitarianism. 👎
No promised land. Just another professional politician. Trump/Ramaswamy in ‘24!
Scott or Trump will be a 3rd party candidate with Scott likely as the VP slot, if lucky.
Scott has about as much of a chance as Linda Graham.
And Graham polled about 1% in SC when he ran.
Ramaswamy disqualified himself with his stance on raising the voting age to 25.
Maybe, maybe not. But either way, Scott’s entry into the race is an irrelevancy. But I tend to doubt he’s doing anything to help Trump. The guy who endorsed Lisa Murkowski, helping Trump? I don’t see it.
I disagree with him on that issue. It should be raised to 29.
Intentionally or not, it will help Trump.
That’s probably true.
Exactly!
It may help Trump put more distance between himself and his nearest competitor, but it’s not a game changer.
I’d put out a press release co taint one word: YAWN
Lol, let’s get started on a constitutional amendment.
Lol, President Trump is right to welcome Tim Scott. Why not dilute the race to see who can break single digits behind the Frontrunner?
As a Trump supporter I have to say it is sad to see Trump major effort is attacking fellow GOPers-worst move since he made Faucci a star!
unless we get ahead of VBM, vote by mail, a month for them to vote or harvest votes and we (mainly) vote on Election Day, it does not matter who is on top of the tix
We lose
Understand why, the Dems use VBM to harvest votes legally and illegally from low propensity voters that are either registered Dem or independent-basically they look at a precinct and if it is a Dem leaning , and has not shown 100% of votes in they got get them, one way or the other and VBM gives them all the tools and time to do it
So it doesn’t matter Trump , DeSantis -until we have a plan to beat them at their game VBM we lose
No....I’m saying that Trump thinks there should only be one candidate...him...
