Leaders of the world’s most powerful democracies will be joined at the Group of Seven (G7) Summit in Japan on Sunday by Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The surprise addition was confirmed Friday in a joint leadership statement, AP reports.
“Our support for Ukraine will not waver,” the G7 leaders said after closed-door meetings, vowing “to stand together against Russia’s illegal, unjustifiable, and unprovoked war of aggression against Ukraine.”

Maybe, but more likely he’s hearing whispers about what happens to him, should he show up in Kiev again. In another 3 months of fleeing Ukraine, he’ll likely end up trying to be some spears from Botswana (having already cleaned out everything in the West).

That seems to be the working theory as the only large country that Zelensky has NOT been to recently is Ukraine. Also, the top 2 (I think) military leaders of Ukraine have disappeared, perhaps taking out by the Russians, or otherwise underground and off the radar. Not to mention that Poland and the Baltics are rumored to be getting tired of this war and that they’ve seen our top-of-the-line Patriots get minced up, they’re likely not so sure that NATO can adequately defend them anymore.
