Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky is visiting the UK to meet Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
In a tweet, he said he would meet his "friend" Mr Sunak to hold "substantive negotiations".
The UK announced on Thursday that it would supply Ukraine with the long-range missiles it had requested to fight the Russian invasion.
Mr Zelensky has been meeting Western leaders in recent days seeking to bolster support for Ukraine.
At the meeting, Mr Sunak said the pair would be "discussing what more we can do to support" Mr Zelensky and Ukraine.
The Ukrainian leader is the first foreign dignitary to meet Mr Sunak at Chequers, the prime minister's official country residence.

Those in government have characterised the visit as a courtesy and a catch-up, rather than a negotiation. Though one source added "there's always business to be done".
Downing Street said the UK would confirm "hundreds" of air defence missiles and drones to help Ukraine's defence later today.

Ukraine is going to need to resupply their depleted uranium ammo.
Today the Prime Minister will confirm the further UK provision of hundreds of air defence missiles and further unmanned aerial systems including hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of over 200km. These will all be delivered over the coming months as Ukraine prepares to intensify its resistance to the ongoing Russian invasion.

Good news for the coming Ukrainian counteroffensive
Exactly!
The UK prior to the Ukraine War had greatly reduced their military spending, at the rate they are giving aid to Ukraine, the UK won’t have a military in the near future , all they will have is a few outdated ships sailing around the world flying the Union Jack
You are either misinformed or a liar.
The Russian salients threatening Bakhmut have been eliminated and after many dead Russians, the lines are back to where they before the recent failed Russian attempt to capture the city.
The fact you overlook is that the Russian military is just a poor to mediocre force lacking the elements, people, command and will to engage and defeat the Ukranian forces in the field.
Russia is being shown to be at best a third world farce

$500 Million Worth Ammo Blown Up!
Like Rst ✊☠
@rst_like
The value of the ammunition stored and destroyed yesterday by the #RussianArmy in the city of #Khmelnitsky could reach 500$ million. Any idea of who paid for that ammunition? Wouldn't it be better invested in hospitals and schools in #Europe and the #USA or elsewhere?!
The west can bankrupt us giving $ and arms to the Ukrainians but eventually attrition will force the west to decide, NATO troops in place of no longer existent Ukrainian troops, WWIII and the high risk of a nuclear exchange or do they negotiate and end to this screwed up mess. Ignoring the propaganda of all sides the population numbers say Russia will eventually win through attrition.
Ukraine has no lack of soldiers, its a country with 40 million people with 7 million men of army age, motivated to fight, so no, NATO troops are not needed. Ukraine needs weapons artillery, IFV's, HIMARS, ATACMS, western jets, and western tanks.
Biden says no long range missiles ATACM's, but Britain sends long range Storm Shadow missiles.
Biden says no western jets, Britain just announce they will start training Ukrainian pilots on flying NATO standard jets.
The Air Force Plans To Retire 300+ Aircraft, Paving Way For Next Gen Fighters
The 310 aircraft the Air Force plans to retire in 2024 include aging fighter jets fitted with outmoded airframes, such as the venerable A-10 Warthog (they will attempt to retire 42 in FY24) and about 57 nearly four-decade-old F-15 C/D Eagles.

Do the math. In a war of attrition the Ukrainians cannot win. How many men does Russia have, far more than 7 million. I’m not a Russian or Ukrainian supporter in this crap burger, but objectively the numbers do not add up for the Ukraine to win.
Right, every war is won purely by the numbers of attrition, like the Russian-Afhgan War? Motivation is important, for Ukrainians its defending families and country while for Russians low morale is understandable, why die for Putin's empire building.
Vietnam, Afghanistan(Soviets and US), WWII-Soviets numbers vs. German numbers, US Civil War. The South held out for a while defending their own lands and people but eventually numbers won out.
Don’t get me wrong I enjoy Ivan getting throat punched but this one will end in a defeat for the Ukraine and NATO and the Ukrainian government “goes into exile” where we will pay for a lavish lifestyle for the Ukrainian leadership, a negotiated settlement where the Ukraine and NATO try and save face and the country will be divided up based on ethnic regions or mushroom clouds all over the northern hemispheres.
