Country music star Chris Stapleton marked Friday night by winning his first Entertainer of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music.

And when the show was over, he was just another working man.

After the annual academy awards show was over, Stapleton was photographed doing a little cleanup.

According to Billboard, the unscripted moment at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, came as Stapleton and his entourage were leaving the main room at the center.

And so, still wearing the jacket and jeans that were his show clothing, Stapleton grabbed a leaf blower to deal with confetti on the floor.

Stapleton posted the photo on his Twitter account, along with a quote from one of the night’s big winners, Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year winner Lainey Wilson.

“Similar to the photo of Stapleton in Wal-Mart last year buying supplies for flood victims, it wasn’t supposed to make it to the public, but it did,” the site noted.

Uh, he posted it to his social media. It was certainly meat to make it to the public.

At first I thought…”pathetic photo op”. But his quote fixed that imo.

LOL! I was thinking leaf blower product endorsement. From what I’ve seen and read, he, so far, isn’t like most of nashville these days.

Like Tom Petty (RIP) said, most of today’s Country Music is just bad rock with a fiddle.

Here’s one of Chris’s artistic songs from when he played bluegrass (real American country music) in the band he founded- The Steeldrivers. A truly remarkable song— observation of a battle from what have been called “witness trees” (that is, trees which are still alive from the time of the 1860’s).

Two clues- “little white trees” are crosses, and the “sticks” are wooden rifles and muskets the tree “saw” as sticks.

Not really. It's an old, tired cliche. Sort of like how Vivaldi wrote the same concerto 200 times. Also, it can be argued that Tom Petty is also a one-trick pony (but I do like much of his work).

Zach Bryan and Lainey Wilson are just two rising stars in country who have great songs.
