Putin's mangled war machines: How Ukraine is decimating Russia's armoured vehicles, navy and aerial support

Even conservative estimates suggest Russia has lost as many as 10,000 pieces of military hardware in Ukraine Analysts point to failure of Moscow's tactics and Ukraine 'outclassing' Kremlin's troops on the battlefield

Tuesday saw Vladimir Putin host Russia's annual Victory Day parade to mark 78 years since the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany.

But while recent years have seen ostentatious displays with dozens of the Kremlin's most sophisticated pieces of military hardware rolling through Moscow's famous Red Square, this year saw a significantly slimmed-down affair.

Some 8,000 troops took part in the parade - the lowest number since 2008. Even the procession in 2020, the year of the Covid-19 pandemic, featured some 13,000 soldiers, and last year, 11,000 troops took part.

What's more, there was no fly-over of military jets, and - as opposed to the columns of T-90 and state-of-the-art T-14 Armata tanks paraded in previous years - a lonesome Second World War-era T-34 trundled over the central Moscow cobblestones.

Russian dictator's forces have suffered losses that would have been unthinkable before he ordered his troops across the border on February 24, 2022.

Not only has Moscow lost tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of soldiers, it has also seen Kyiv's troops destroy thousands of Russian military vehicles including tanks, infantry transport vehicles, trucks, artillery, helicopters and jets.

While exact figures are unknown, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine estimates Russian hardware losses to be over 25,000. Even the most conservative estimates suggest the figure is over 10,000.

I don’t believe anything I am told about Ukraine. Let me know when it is over and who won.

While the Russian MoD says that those planes and choppers yesterday in Bryansk came down due to “unknown” reasons, which is an epic failure in itself, Prigozhin claims that all aerial Russian vehicles were victims of friendly fire.

Well, it’s them. What more to say?

Blame it on the vodka! Ukrainians have been finding empty bottles of Chinese made vodka too. On the battlefield that the Russians ran from.

This is what the US NATO commander testified to Congress on 27 April:

"The Russian army operating in Ukraine today is larger than when the Kremlin launched its invasion in February 2022"

"Russia has only lost one warship and about 80 fighters and tactical bombers in an air fleet numbering about 1,000 so far in the war"

The situation is getting bad for you guys. Even the NATO commander has converted to Putinism and now recites TASS talking points.

General Mark Milley and Lloyd Austin will take this as a challenge.

state-of-the-art T-14 Armata (said tongue in cheek) because that piece of junk is hardly the state of anyone’s art unless you are in the towing or scrap metal business.

Here's the latest Russian tank innovation. It is used on all the old T 54 tanks being imported to the battles. Screens of all sorts are installed on top of the turrets. The screens prevent drone dropped grenades or small bombs from being dropped right into an open hatch.

The Russians are indebted to the Ethiopean engineers for this innovation

“Xi’s just gonna waltz into East Russia, no problemo.”

Xi needs more land, Siberia would solve that.

What you don’t mention is that using those planes within 10-150km of the front is highly dangerous. And they will not unless they want to lose their airforce.

Look at the two top of the line jets - SU-35, & Su-34 - along with 2 of Russia’s best and most expensive helicopters packing even more expensive jamming gear that went down over Bryansk, Russia after flying a predictable route by a MiG-29 and a SU-24 with long range missiles.

Their ships cannot enter the fray other than those mostly harmless ones in the Black Sea.

As far as their troops go, by watching videos of front line combat, you will learn the only Russian troop that beats a Wagner running away is an regular troop.

Except that Siberia is now and always has been endless tracts of worthless land that is uninhabitable

Xi is engaged in retrograde communism. Xi is destroying the current prosperity and relative freedom to back slide purposely into Maoist communism.

Faced with a large aging population and no population growth, Siberia is neither desired nor required. Over half of China is as uninhabited as Siberia

interesting but global warming will change the livability of Siberia, imo
