It’s not that government can’t clamp down on people when it wants to. The J6 prisoners’ treatment proves that abundantly. It’s that when it wants to, it’s not driven by the imperative of justice but the incentive of politics. A prime example is the Jordan Neely/Daniel Penny affair.
Neely, 30, the violent, deranged man who died while or after being restrained on a New York City subway May 1, had a voluminous rap sheet of 42 arrests. On the list are the kidnapping of a seven-year-old girl and multiple assaults, one of which was a 2021 attack on an elderly woman on whom Neely inflicted serious injuries. Yet he was still on the streets.

The answer observers such as commentator Emma Vigeland offer is: the “bourgeois” concern about people’s “discomfort.” Along with many others, she emphasizes that Neely was a “mentally ill” man who needed help.
Does that make a difference? If a mentally sound person kills you, you’re dead. And if a mentally ill person kills you, you’re dead.
The difference is something else: Maybe Neely should’ve long ago been in prison.
Or maybe he should’ve been in a psychiatric institution.
For sure, though, he should have been off the streets.
It’s not as if Neely hadn’t long served notice on society or was low-profile, either. The mainstream media have, in an effort to whitewash the criminal, pointed out that he was a (lovable) Michael Jackson impersonator. Well, journalist Mike Cernovich uncovered a 2013 Reddit post (tweet below) by a liberal who was warning about how this Jackson impersonator had become unhinged.

Should a Government That Would Leave a Jordan Neely on the Streets Even Exist?

If in fact we go to war against China, we probably would lose and be subject to a government that would never tolerate a Jordan Neely.
So there’s that.
Absolutely. And every Democrat, liberal, Professive, Socialist should be forced to live in a place that allows it. Up to and including all of the above being forcibly removed from wherever they move in Red States.
I don’t think we have an actual government any more. We have something else.
It doesn’t guard the border.
It doesn’t punish criminals.
It doesn’t protect law-abiding citizens.
It doesn’t ensure honest elections.
Not really a nation of laws now.
If the left cared about the homeless (i.e. Neely) they wouldn’t support or be silent about homeless people sleeping on the street while state and federal government pays for “migrants” to sleep in hotel rooms.
The issue is never the issue with the left.
A nation of men.
Evil men.
Remember that quaint phrase from the pledge of allegiance,. “one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
I remember when I believed it.

This government, under these democrats hates our guts because we’re citizens and we demand our Constitutional rights.
Stated succinctly/accurately/precisely without prejudice.
Its a government that wants thousands of Neelys on the street, terrorizing and murdering law abiding citizens. Preferably citizens whose race the government doesn’t care for. In this case, white.
Its a government that has woke da’s who won’t prosecute certain violent criminals of color, and its a government who passes laws turning these people,out onto the streets because of no cash bail laws.
We’re the bourgeoisie and/or the kulaks.
That’s who these people ARE.
It’s so sad. And it gets worse every day.
I apologize in advance to all my great-grandchildren that I was unable to keep it from happening. But, I tried.

We have neither Safety, nor Happiness. And the GOP-Dem duopoly is dedicated to making sure we don't get either one.
Well, a government that leaves drug-addled, recidivist murderers and rapists on the streets exists, so why not?

But what is the end game for them? They will end up with a nation of criminals that will not be as easily controlled as we all are now. And those criminals will just kill the powers in charge now and take over. It is an agenda of fear and hopelessness that will not end well at all.
