Yellen clearly doesn't understand that the House has the Constitutional "power of the purse". When the Democrats have control of the House, taxation and spending rocket off the charts. The Republicans have the majority now and are attempting to rein in the spending. The Dems are unhappy about having their hands slapped.

Here’s an idea. Why not go back to the system where Congress...you know...actually passes budget items each year that the president signs. These endless continuing resolutions are a joke.
