FBI refuses to give Congress informant file alleging Biden took bribes as vice president

WASHINGTON — The FBI has refused to give Congress an informant file alleging that President Biden took bribes while he was vice president, The Post has learned — setting up a possible showdown over access to the information.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) issued a legally binding subpoena last week requiring the FBI to turn over the file by noon Wednesday, but the FBI responded instead with a six-page letter raising various objections.

“Information from confidential human sources is unverified and, by definition, incomplete,” wrote FBI acting assistant director for congressional affairs Christopher Dunham, who also argued that informant reports must also be kept private to protect the sources of allegations.

Real simple: put them in jail for obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting a large number of felonies.

RE: Cut the fbi budget to $0. Why would you pay for crap like that?

Tell ‘em we gave at the office and we’re tapped out. That reparations thing took all our cash. Nothing’s left for your bureau.

Exactly, I remember when Obama funded the mass purchase of ammunition and sidearms for non law enforcement of the irs. I said then that Trump should have surplused all the arms and ammunition through the cmp. Put the guns in ammunition in the hands of the people.

The Flash Gorden cult here on FR loves to assign powers to Congress that it doesn’t have and then scream like little girls when Congress doesn’t use the powers it doesn’t have.

House of reps can not unilaterally repeal previously approved spending already passed into a law. Only control they have is future spending.

Yes. See it constantly. “Gowdy didn’t do anything, just a useless show”. Actually he did, Eric Holder is the one who didn’t do anything. Or he did, he buried it all.

These FBI-BS artists want you to believe they have ‘sources’ and ‘methods’ that prevent them from allowing you to see the goods on Biden. They are not known as the ‘cleanup crew’ for nothing. How did our Country sink to this disgusting cesspool of depravity?

ping jockey :" a bare knuckles approach is called for as this.
Take the gloves off. Hit em in the snot locker.

Next Friday, instead of a paycheck, indicate in a letter that compliance with the subpoena is NOT an Option.
Since the House is Republican (finance) controlled,..
" The determination is that the FBI will not be paid until they comply with the subpoena, or, until the new budget is approved,
in several months, or until the FBi leadership complies with the subpoena as required, BY LAW.
If you have any questions, please contact your supervisor."

The response within the agency should be deafening within a week, or, there will be more "whistleblowers" coming front and center about political weaponizing a Fed agency.

They need to sue, subpoena, and use whatever other powers they have.

Wry and his deputies need to be held in contempt of Congress.

The House of Representatives should pass a law moving the FBI headquarters to someplace like Fairbanks Alaska, and then reduce square footage for office space in WA DC to 100 square feet, along with placing all FBI buildings and leases in the greater Metropolitan DC are for sale.

Let that be part of next year’s federal budget process. The FBI will get the hint.

Cut their budget by 1% per day until these docs turn up. They were due today, so next year’s budget is already down 1%. Won’t take long to force compliance.
