Democrats are getting a sinking feeling when it comes to Donald Trump: They can see him winning again.
A New York jury in a civil trial on Tuesday found the former president liable for sexual assault and defamation, but a number of Democrats say their party is underestimating Trump, who despite a series of scandals is the frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination.
“There is a concern from a lot of people like me, for sure,” said one prominent Democratic strategist. “There’s a disconnect between the consultant class of our party and the voters. They think they can just run a bunch of ads talking about how crazy Donald Trump is [and] that will be enough. That’s just not the case.”
Another strategist warned others in his party: “Be very f—ing worried.”

Understand, I am of a mind that believes that the RNC does not want Trump to lead the ticket in Nov. ‘24. The fact that everyone realizes that the ‘20 election was stolen makes it incumbent upon the GOP to aoid what FReeper x projects in his #67.
The RNC is in a tough spot. They don’t want Trump to lead the national ticket and they can’t afford to have Trump come into the Convention leading.
Their best bet is to head him off at the pass...the primaries...by whatever means necessary.
Only time will tell exactly HOW they manage to de-fang DJT.
Just a reminder — Trump did beat Biden. Unless you believe that a guy who ran his campaign from his basement polled 15% higher than the first Black president and 20% higher than the first woman candidate for president.
Even if every vote went to Trump, Biden would win.

Unfortunately calling the 2020 demorat landslide for Cho BiDung a ‘one off’ is wishful thinking IMHO. It actually was the final test before putting all the demorat ballot schemes into ‘full production’. Only a few states have rescinded their lax covid related ballot acquisition laws so unless big changes are in the pipeline, I expect another round of the Rs getting 75mm voters and 75mm ballots while the Ds get 65mm voters but 90mm ballots.
It has been tested and approved by the DNC, a fully owned part of the Soros crime family.

I’d say it depends on whether the election is more about Trump or more about Biden. If Trump can focus on Biden’s failure to control inflation, his corrupt son Hunter, and his pushing trannies on women’s sports teams, then yes Trump should win and win easily in 2024. My fear is that Trump will make 2024 about the 2020 election instead or worse repeat the same pro-vaxx line he did in 2020, which turned a lot of pro-medical freedom conservatives off.
Make the election about Biden, not about Trump.
The GOP had better learn how to harvest votes and confront the Democrat illegal vote machine if it hopes to win.
If by "harvest votes" you mean increase GOP turnout, a good first step would be to nominate a candidate who doesn't promote Operation Warp Speed as a success.
