Democrats are getting a sinking feeling when it comes to Donald Trump: They can see him winning again.
A New York jury in a civil trial on Tuesday found the former president liable for sexual assault and defamation, but a number of Democrats say their party is underestimating Trump, who despite a series of scandals is the frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination.
“There is a concern from a lot of people like me, for sure,” said one prominent Democratic strategist. “There’s a disconnect between the consultant class of our party and the voters. They think they can just run a bunch of ads talking about how crazy Donald Trump is [and] that will be enough. That’s just not the case.”
Another strategist warned others in his party: “Be very f—ing worried.”

Although they may use something else, I believe yesterday’s ruling will give them the excuse to keep him off their primary ballots.
The GOP primaries are their own game. The rules to that game wi!l be whatever the GOP wants them to be.
The GOP simply cannot allow Trump to go into the convention leading the delegate count and the on!y way to avoid that is to keep him off the ballots

They are relying on nonsense polls that severely underestimate the Democratic voting block. These nonsense polls have nowhere near the sophistication required to predict the outcome of the Dem get-out-the-vote machinery. I completely dismiss this poll.
If it looks like Trump could win, there will be violence, blood in the streets. This will provide the excuse for crackdowns. The elections won’t be cancelled, but the crisis will make it easy to put Biden or another Democrats in the White House for the next four years.

Wasn’t yesterday’s ruling a civil ruling, not a criminal one? Can a candidate be kept off the ballet because he lost a civil case?
State GOP can do whatever it wants to do with state GOP primary.

Then, if that is the case, a state GOP can just adopt a rule that Trump cannot be on the ballot...no reason needed.

When the Deep State suddenly wrapped up the 2020 Democrat primaries -- with Butt as the titular leader winning IA and NH -- took a 4% candidate, and engineered a homely, ridiculous, jungle-driven SC theft, with the plan instantly-but-fully in place to install America's first puppet-state, not every Democrat was on board, kemosabee, and one of the Democrats who most definitely was not on board is now polling 21% against the puppet! Schadenfreude!
Add that in to even those Democrats who were marginally on-board, now seeing that their planned "accession" up the Federal Ladder Of Success is blocked by this senile, sh!tting-diapers state agent, and there just might be people in his Cabinet saying, "You know what, nuh uh. Another 4 years of that smell?"
