There’s nothing wrong with drinking cheap beer. When I’m out on my deck, I always had a few cans of Busch Light. I’m not going to drink my good stuff.

They might get away with it for these reasons.
Gillette is a high priced name brand that a “cheapskate” named unclebankster actually is willing to pay for & use.
I know it’s a good product because my wife uses my razors on those female issues you mentioned, instead of the “chick razors” I purchase for her.

This is a huge mistake. Minimizing the problem is just going to lead to even more boycotts. It shows they have learned nothing from the experience.
They need to take responsibility, confess it was a stupid idea and promise to never repeat it. Then halve the price for the next 3 months and customers will flock back.
Decades ago I was just promoted in the USAF and was in a good mood. A group of young airmen was pooling their money to buy that generic beer. I told them no and kicked in the money so they could buy a good name brand beer as I was horrified that anyone would have to drink that. I did try it once.
Please tell that the generic beer isn’t still around.
My nephew told me that where he lives the COSTCO had Bud for around $15 for 36 beers.
I hope they crater.
Their destruction may serve to stop the constant pushing of this pervert garbage.
Fortunately there’s little room for discount. It’s extremely low margin.
