While announcing her Fiscal 2024 budget, New York State Governor Kathy Hochul announced that New York will soon be the first state to ban natural gas hookups in new construction.
The proposal, which has yet to be fully released, likely would not contain any “opt-outs” for local municipalities and would appear to be similar to a ban enacted by New York City in 2021.

Exactly. There are few technologies that can spool up fast enough to provide power when the windmills and solar drop out, which they often do several times a day. Gas turbines are one, hydro is the other. But they want to curtail gas usage, and tear down the hydro dams. Suicidal.

Great! While China and India built 400 NEW coal fired power plants during last 12 months, which is cheapest source of energy except hydro power.
This puts American businesses at bigger competitive disadvantage, using most expensive source of energy...green energy.
They dont care, they and their friends will then buy up the real estate for nothing...
