Federal officials are looking into whether the gunman who killed eight people at a Dallas-area mall expressed an interest in white supremacist ideology Sunday as they work to discern a motive for the attack, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press. The official cautioned the investigation is in its early stages.
Federal agents have been reviewing social media accounts they believe were used by Mauricio Garcia, 33, and posts that expressed interest in white supremacist and neo-Nazi views, said the official, who could not discuss details of the investigation publicly and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity.
Garcia also had a patch on his chest when he was killed by police that read “RWDS,” an acronym for the phrase “Right Wing Death Squad,” which is popular among right-wing extremists and white supremacy groups, the official said.
In addition to reviewing social media posts, federal agents have interviewed family members and associates of Garcia to ask about his ideological beliefs, the official said. Investigators are also reviewing financial records, other online posts they believe Garcia made and other electronic media, according to the official.
Allen Police Chief Brian Harvey declined Sunday evening to answer questions from the AP, saying of the investigation, “we actually don’t have a lot.”

Birth of a new narrative being formed?
ANyone who even reads or visits something pro white will now be on the weaponized FBI’s hit list?
Did the government have something to do with this and the incident in south Texas?? Timing sticks out to me
Reminiscent of the scene from the move V for Vendetta where the family is watching the government news program and it becomes all too evident that the news is pure propaganda BS and the kid shakes her head and says “bollocks”.
Sure it will...it’ll read like this:
Dear (redacted)
(entire thing redacted)
Sincerely
Audrey Hale
They ALWAYS follow the leads when they think it’s about a certain kind of ideology. But for crimes committed by members of certified victim groups they deliberately and intentionally suppress all mention of ideology.
As they did recently with the trans murderer who wrote a “manifesto” whose contents have been suppressed.
Can’t let that get out. Bet it contains actions due to “Trans Day of Vengeance”
AP running the full on propaganda narrative…
If the Deep State cannot get whites to commit mass murder, then Hispanics will have to do, so they can be labeled “white Hispanics”. Most of them have some European genes, after all. White supremacists and right wingers are reluctant to get involved because of decades old COINTELPRO tactics and prison sentences that would have embarrassed Stalin. The Hispanic community may not be as intimidated and are perhaps more susceptible to manipulation by FBI agents.
Why don’t the “agents” ever review the “news medias” anti-American extremist postings? They need to start with the New Yawk Slimes and Wash Compost.
You'll never see the tranifesto.
Are those heart shaped crystal earrings? ( Just wondering)
Aaand this incident disappears into an ocean of governmental statistics to resurface later in support of the media ‘violent white nationalist ultra MAGA mass murdering terrorists’ narrative.
I find his lack of neck tattoos surprising.
How convenient /s
If a Hispanic hates blacks -- it's white supremacy.
If a black hates Asians -- it's white supremacy.
Yesterday on the news I heard reporters saying Garcia had no record. Today on CBS they are saying “He did not have a serious criminal record.”
What will we learn tomorrow?
When they do not post images, name, race, religion, national origin, and purposefully let us wait (let people calm down), there is of course usually a reason.
If this had been someone not in a group of extra special considerations, his name, face, and other information would have been blasted out into the public immediately.
This event smacks of an ‘op’, long in planning and intended to deceive with a purpose.
The questions are:
Who launched the op - and when - and qui bono?
He’d peg the g*ydar.
Probably Brian Ross is their source.
Three important facts have not been well covered...
First, there are two mug shots of the shooter, taken at different times. It is quite possible he has a prior criminal record and may not have the right to own or possess guns.
Second, the shooter did not renew his security guard license in 2020.
So, if working a security job for last three years, he was unlawfully employed.
Third, he was not living at home with his parents, which has been widely claimed.
He was living in transitory housing, which means he was probably broke.
