Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Friday that former President Donald Trump's presidency would be a "horror show" if he were re-elected because his former boss lacks the "discipline" as well as the "ability for strategic thinking" needed to get things done.
"It is a horror show, you know, when… he's left to his own devices," Barr said in remarks at the City Club of Cleveland in Ohio on Friday.
"If you believe in his policies, what he's advertising is his policies, he's the last person who could actually execute them and achieve them," Barr said to a reporter who asked if Trump is fit to be president again.

My guess is that Trump believed he could trust more people than he actually could not because of naivete but because this is government he is dealing with and not business people who have slightly more honor and loyalty.

Barr had an opportunity to at least try to reverse the trajectory of this country. Instead he protected his deep state cronies. He is beneath contempt. Barr should go down in history with the likes of Neville Chamberlain and others who failed to act against evil when they had the chance.

If President Trump runs and wins the White House again, is there reason to think he will have better choices available to him from the people who will need to confirm them? Is his being aware of what he is facing enough to change any of it for the better and not be stuck with saboteurs around him?
I am optimistic as hell but I must also consider possible realities.
