New York State, starting in 2026, is going to ban gas stoves and heat from almost all new buildings.
They're doing this, of course, to fight the evil sun monster that's causing the earth to heat up.
It's not happening.
Actually, it is happening and it's a good thing.
That's the pattern you see (sometimes with a few extra steps) over and over and over again.
The Right's "slippery slope" and "conspiracies" always come true.

It’s ridiculous. NYS is rich in natural gas. Right now, they’re converting farm lands into solar farms....never to grow food again. Total insanity

The owner of the Buffalo Bills (the only NFL team that plays in New York State), made his fortune off fracking natural gas (in Pennsylvania). If it wasn’t for that evil gas, the team would now be called the Toronto Bills. The same state that hates natural gas is footing $1 Billion to build that team a new stadium in Buffalo. I am just trying to unpack all of that.

Methinks there won’t be a helluva lot of new building in York...for a whole host of reasons.
I’d say woke, green, Marxist New Yorkers are imbeciles.
I get furious that we fund this.
Surrounding states should burrow under the York state line and suck all their resources out for use by normal Americans.
All those fancy NYC restaurants where world class chefs use GAS to create their customers dinner will suddenly be very slow service with electric ovens and cooktops................
Here’s the big problem: electric stoves run on gas-fired power stations. Those will have to be banned, too. Result: no stoves.
Two things:
1.) New York refuses to exploit its’ Marcellus Shale reserves, or to build pipelines to bring gas from other states that aren’t so stupid.
2. Nat-gas is the only fuel left that can power peak-load generation plants to feed the NY grid. During winter cold snaps the demand will soon exceed supply even without new construction. (see #1).
They're citing "globull warming" because if they told the truth about the decayed infrastructure, the bond ratings for municipalities across the state would drop.
I posted this same thing yesterday who in the hell will invest in putting up NEW buildings in NY!! I recently purchased a home in the desert of Ca. moved from the beach, I receive THOUSANDS of emails from real estate sales people in NY THOUSANDS of listings people are fleeing NY!! Looking at these listings AND street views WHO IN THE HELL would want to live there?? A ONE BEDROOM flat STARTING at $400,000-$500,000 I have never been to NY HOWEVER who in the hell would want to live in this cesspool!! The city has been destroyed with crime and filth and the ONLY damn reason ANYONE would enjoy living there is due to the city life!! EVERY damn listing has bars on the windows streets are lined with cars EVERYWHERE, electrical wires and poles HANGING everywhere JEEZE!! Corporate buildings in Manhattan are empty, NO ONE feels safe going to work there anymore NY is DONE same as SF is DONE!! Nordstrom has pulled both of their stores out of SF!! Restaurants that have been there for GENERATIONS are now closed NO ONE is visiting there any longer ALL DESTROYED by DEMS!!!
The gas providers CAN afford to fix it and have tried but NY told them no, Cuomo in particular.
So NY is forcing us to rely on the electrical infrastructure which is just bad a shape and will never handle the increased demand. Hell they can’t keep the power on NOW.
Our rulers hate us and want us to freeze and starve.
