A second firm hired by Trump campaign found no evidence of election fraud

Former president Trump’s campaign quietly commissioned a second firm to study election fraud claims in the weeks after the 2020 election, and the founder of the firm was recently questioned by the Justice Department about his work disproving the claims.

Ken Block, founder of the firm Simpatico Software Systems, studied more than a dozen voter fraud theories and allegations for Trump’s campaign in late 2020 and found they were “all false,” he said in an interview with The Washington Post.

“No substantive voter fraud was uncovered in my investigations looking for it, nor was I able to confirm any of the outside claims of voter fraud that I was asked to look at,” he said. “Every fraud claim I was asked to investigate was false.”

Block said he recently received a subpoena from special counsel Jack Smith’s office and met with federal prosecutors in Washington, but he declined to discuss his interactions with them. Block said he contemporaneously sent his findings disputing fraud claims in writing to the Trump campaign in late 2020...

Prosecutors are trying to show that Trump and his advisers definitively knew — or had good reason to believe — that their myriad fraud claims were false as they continued to spread and fundraise off the claims. The claims ultimately convinced many voters the election was stolen and inspired rioters to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. The falsehoods also brought in more than $250 million to Trump and his allies.

Key to building such a case, experts say, is proving that Trump and other advisers making the claims publicly did not believe them or had evidence to know they were false.

There most definitely IS evidence. It’s just being ignored, whitewashed, minimized, and those claiming it are being threatened in unprecedented ways.

And if you point out the ways in which they are ignoring, whitewashing or minimizing the evidence, you are attacked even more viciously.

‘Yea, Biden, who hardly campaigned, got 12,000,000 more votes than Obama.’

why would that surprise you...? the 2020 election had 158.5 million voters, as opposed to 2012’s total of 128.6 million, a difference of almost 30,000,000...

what’s actually suprising is that Biden only got 12 million more than Obama...

Know what’s fun? Watching liberals vote for inflation, high taxes, and other economic ruin, like higher property taxes, while begging the government for more handouts. Al the while, you economic situation deteriorates into poverty. I’m wealthy so I never know what I pay for things. You, you’re at the point of having to watch your spending at the grocery store. You fear getting older as your money dwindles. So, keeping making smart ass remarks about “winning” elections while driving yourself to the poorhouse. I’ll just watch you die is squalor. That’s fun for me.

All but three Georgia counties (small ones totaling a few thousand ballots)filed the ballot transfer documents as required under the law.

Biden’s official margin was 7 million votes, not 12 million.

‘I know, you think Biden actually got 81 million votes when not even Obama got above 67 million.’

again, many more votes were recorded in 2020 over 2012, just short of 30 million; additionally, 2020 had much less 3rd party influence...Trump exceeded Obama’s top count by 5 million, and given that the total vote of 158.5 million votes were basically spread over just two contestants the results are not all that surprising...

And here you are, quoting the lyingist bunch of Liars in all of the United States.

Ken Block is the one quoted and the special counsel is interviewing him.

Would it make you feel better if you didn't know?

“There were 168 million registered voters in 2020. Trump received over 74 million votes, and if the vote count can be believed, Biden received 81 million votes. That’s a total of 155 million votes cast. That’s a 92% turnout!! The average turnout for a presidential election in this country has been between 55%-62%. That alone is grounds to believe the 2020 election was fixed!!”

Any comment?

There were more counted “votes” in 2020 than there were registered voters by over 20 million.

Anyone claiming 2020 was a fair election is an idiot.

I’m curious, why are you on freerepublic?

I like it here and enjoy the debates.

I'm not big on click bait or conspiracy theories, though.

Just how is any firm going to prove vote fraud? They can’t even get their hands on the evidence. And even if they could they know that they would be destroyed by the left and the media the moment they claimed vote fraud.

And seem that all the video evidence does not count. And all the evidence that people like Lake have dug up doesn’t count either. And trying to show the evidence only gets you sued.

Did they study real life as well?

You don’t have to, but your argument will not be persuasive if you cannot say who did the thing you allege, especially if there is no specific act that you are alleging.

Unofficial vote totals on teevee are irrelevant. They are meaningless entertainment for the viewers. They are not legally binding and often are compiled by third parties like the Associated Press.

I’ve looked at all of the detailed allegations that I could. I watched Lindell’s stuff. None of it holds up. Both Trump and Biden had lots of people vote for them who did not like them. Instead, they really disliked the other guy. Tons of people hated Trump who did not like Biden. This is a very simple thing to understand.

‘That’s a total of 155 million votes cast. That’s a 92% turnout!!’

the voting eligible population was 239.2 million; 159 million (the actual turnout, not 155) is 66.7 percent...

numbers are fluid, yeah, but not that fluid...

‘There were more counted “votes” in 2020 than there were registered voters by over 20 million.’

your statement might have some validity if it were true that only registered voters are permitted to vote; since that is not even remotely true, your statement is thus rendered moot...
