Perot wouldn’t have been a factor had bush41 not been such a gun-grabbing, globalist rino

Bush was out of tune with American sentiment.

Sure, the media overhyped the recession with endless pieces on food lines and hundreds applying for dozens of job openings. The Bush family legacy, and the Republican brand, isn’t helped by rhyming with Middle East wars and recessions. W was perhaps the better of the two but his administration was a disappointment particularly in the second term.

Perot wasn’t serious about winning once he dropped out during summer before getting back in. He was more America First than globalist particularly in trade.

Trump can’t win in 2024. He’s made himself unelectable which is disappointing because I don’t see a strong ideological successor competing for the nomination in 2024. It’s definitely NOT DeSantis.

H. Ross Perot.

The only people lamenting the rejection of the Bush family of losers are the neoconnunists.

Riiiggghht. Because the Clinton Legacy - which continues to this day - is so much better than what the Bushes brought us.

(eyeroll)

Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama era is the same Swamp First..

That’s why they all hate Trump.

He was the first America First/Swamp Last candidate that infiltrated their R vs D Con..

Yes Mr President , Bush 41 never should have said read my lips.

Agreed. He also made the mistake of removing Reagan's cap on budget increases. Bush might have had to raise taxes in any case (as Reagan raised taxes on gas and cigarettes), but to promise loudly not to raise taxes and then unnecessarily create a situation where he had to was the height of folly. He was still better than the guy we have now.

The Saudi nationals crashed The Twin Towers, but for some strange reason we still kissed their butts, and went into never-never-stan.

It was a 50/50 split in siphoning off votes. Bush loses regardless.

You think Bush should not have promised no new taxes right before raising taxes? You hate George Bush. You think we should not have gotten our troops into Somalia? You hate George Bush. You think we should have stayed out of Iraq after 9/11? You hate George W Bush. You think we should not have gotten in a war in Afghanistan? You hate George W Bush.

I wouldn’t include Germany as an ally. The majority of Germans hate the US and want us to cease our occupation of their country.

I want to reiterate that it is the German people who consider the US military to be occupiers. This is one issue which I agree with Robert Kennedy Jr. We need to close all overseas bases and focus our attention on our open borders.

Because what Trump delivered for America actually was far better than whatever the Clintons, bushes, and obamas. (The latter two being in complete agreement on all things - because noeconnunists and lefties are the same uniparty scum).

No eyeroll. Just a lion's stare.

"$99 for Trump to show his penchant for celebrities."

No, $99 to show what hypocrites many well-known celebrities really are.

Books are getting more expensive, but if you want a lot of sales, you don’t charge $99.

"As for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars... Is Trump saying that the American’s who fought and died there did so for nothing?"

No, Biden said that, and made it so when he withdrew from Afghanistan overnight, leaving behind Americans, 13 dead Marines, and billions of dollars in military equipment, arms, and armor. When asked about the withdrawal and death of the Marines, he snapped back: "That was 4 or 5 days ago!" Then while standing at Dover Airforce Base to review the return of the remains of those 13 dead Marines, all he could do was look at his watch. It's no different than Hillary saying "what difference at this point does it make" how those men in Benghazi died?

You're trying to put words in Donald Trump's mouth. All war is a waste, as are the lives of the good men, and women who lose theirs in war time. At this point in time, if you don't fight a war to win it, and end it, it's a wasted measure, as are the lives of the men and women in uniform who gave their all for a half-hearted measure where there is no end is in sight. And the reason wars are not ended today, is because too many people, politicians included are making big bucks by waging endless wars, while trying to continue to maintain the power that comes with it.

"Whoa, yikes."

I've paid that much for history books, not school books, but authored books by historians.
