Armies run on Logistics so where are you going to charge all those trucks up to deliver the supplies? How much extra support will be needed to keep those EV’s going? And given the the weight they will need to haul how will the batteries be improved to compensate for that?

Rare earth minerals then will be the reason for war then. If Afghanistan has all the mineral potential then a huge standing army will be needed to keep the peace along with the investment of 10’s of billions for infrastructure so that mining can even take place.

Lithium battery-powered tanks and vehicles.
What could go wrong?

On extremely short notice, military trucks might be air lifted to Alaska, or Saudi Arabia, or Bora Bora, or maybe even Los Angeles. They have to start when it’s -40 degrees, or +130 degrees F. They have to ford rivers deeper than the top of their engines, tow their inoperable twins, get lifted by a helicopter, withstand an IED, get dropped out of a C-130 without a parachute to slow their impact, get shot by a .50 cal. bullet, and drive through an NBC cloud (Nuclear, Biological, chemical). All this and carry enough ‘fuel’ to get back home.
And some idiot wants to adda couple of dozen tons of extra batteries and generators and fuel to run them?

So U.S. military airlift vehicle-count capacity drops to 50 percent.

Yet Granholm will still use the biggest gas guzzler and also private jets. It’s obvious corruption in the open but Merrick Garland is focused on Catholics and also moms wondering why grooming kids is policy. It’s so bizarre.

Constitutional amendment or Executive Order (From our next president, Trump)?:
All vehicles, homes, structures in the D.C. metro area & suburbs must be 100% carbon neutral, no ice cars, 100% EV, & no fossil fuels/carbon for heating/cooling/cooking/electricity.
Let them reap what they sow!

She shouldn’t even be on the WH horse stable cleaning force....if they had one. If she were in charge of the military, our best bet would be to surrender immediately. This is probably the most insane idea I’ve ever heard of in a single day. Granholm surely has no business as Energy Secretary & this was known before she ever came up with this hare-brained ideas. Doesn’t she have a clue as to why the EVs are not going to prove practical even for civilian use? Just too many problems.
