Truth. This is why neither Trump nor DeSantis are going to win in 2024 until and unless they have competitive ballot harvesting mechanisms as well. They do not need to out-ballot-harvest Biden, but they must be in that game and must offset at least some of the Democrat advantage in harvested ballots. In 2020 and 2024, the Republican candidates for POTUS and Congress got nothing from ballot harvesting.

I think the Democrat power structure has already decided Biden/Harris are out.
The primaries will be interesting, but I am pretty sure Newsom will be the beneficiary of the 2024 ballot harvesting for the general election.
