The "collective West" is the phrase which tells a glaring truth. The "collectivists" -- are easily found in such as not only the DSA -- Socialists in the Democrat Party -- but in the mainstream Democrats and RINOs as well, as we often lump these corrupt individuals. They are a "collective" and seek the collectivists' solution to politics, economics and even culture. They are supported by the "Collective West" found in academia and the mainstream media. Any disruption in their aims is greeted with "collective" howls, as the many rounds of sanctions are hobbling the West economically.
For what purposes? Corruption (money for the few and elite and well-cionnected_ and power (to pervert and control those who would recoil at perversions such as those being presented non-stop in the Biden regime.
Why? Because the elites need to destroy Russia because Russia is building churches, banning homosexuality, and doing everything anti-liberal that they can.
Rule #1: The elites want you dead.
Liberalism is how the elites are killing you.
Orban does not want Hungary to fall to US immorality and political correctness, nor does he want it to lose its own culture.
Putin is a Russian nationalist - he’s authoritarian, but that’s how they do it in Russia and always have done it - but he doesn’t run slave camps, create famines, etc. as did his Communist predecessors. And he understands the importance of the Orthodox Faith, just as Orban understands the importance of the (traditional, not Bergoglio or Biden-style) Catholic Faith. The Catholic and Orthodox churches are traditionally the same in terms of the Faith, morality and world view.
Thus, Russia must be destroyed, and probably Hungary is on the US “must be destroyed” list now too.
I am so disgusted by what we have become thanks to 60 years of steady infiltration and now open take-over by the left.
Who ever thought people would be fired or even sent to jail for denying that men are women? We are in an upside down world of madness. But everybody has to agree to the madness to keep it going, and obviously neither the Russians nor the Hungarians do.

If the problem were just sanctions, then Europe could solve it’s problem by ceding all of the Soviet territory back to Russia. But that’s no solution at all — hence, it’s not the problem.

Some things need to be repeated for the benefit of the war cheerleaders. So many ( All?) need to realize battle lines drawn on a map are just one indicator in war. Money funds war, and the EU and West is clearly losing the economic war, and the EU natives are getting restless, very restless ( pull up all the rioting in the EU nations- the Western MSM fails to report).
Vlad is on record stating Russia is prepared for a 30 month war with NATO and the collective West. Russia is filling its pockets with cash, the West? Tapped out at the least, bankrupt at the most. Ukraine is a 100 percent welfare nation, fully dependent on the West just to survive. How long do the EU citizens suffer through historic inflation and shortages? The EU is fracturing, signaling an end to the US pet Nazis, Ukraine.

When living there training Ivans, it struck me the Russian government spent lots of money building, restoring Churches……the West? Spending a lot of money abroad spreading immoral, filthy doctrine. I have seen my share of US Embassies and Consulates flying the gay flag, made me sick.
