Two key Republicans call for Secretary of State Blinken to resign over Hunter Biden revelations

Two high-profile Republicans who have probed the Biden family scandal are calling on Secretary of State Antony Blinken to resign or face impeachment over allegations he helped orchestrate an intelligence community letter during the 2020 election that falsely portrayed Hunter Biden's laptop contents as Russian disinformation.

The rebukes of Blinken by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) came after the release Thursday night of testimony from former CIA chief Michael Morell that Blinken had asked him to organize the now-infamous October 2020 letter to benefit the Biden campaign. Morell testified he agreed to do so because Blinken asked and he wanted to influence the election in Joe Biden's favor.

"This, in my opinion, probably disqualifies him to serve as the Secretary of State," Biggs told Just the News in a wide-ranging interview Friday on the John Solomon Reports podcast. "And I know people keep saying, 'Andy, you want to impeach everybody?' Well, you know, Tony Blinken probably should be impeached, just like [Homeland Secretary Alejandro] Mayorkas should be impeached.

Wake me up when Romney, Manchin, and Sinema have a press conference asking for Blinken’s resignation.

You’re pipe-dreaming.

Manchin and Sinema, maybe.

Romney, never.

Secretary of State position should be renamed to Coups, Civil Wars, Thievery, and Treason Director.

If Austin and Miley refused to resign after that awful Afghanistan withdrawal, if Mayorkas can sit there in front of Jim Jordan, glazed eyed, bored and not truly giving a damn about our borders, if ‘Mayor Pete’ can spend all day pointing fingers at Transportation problems with zero self reflection;

I can’t see anybody else in this administration showing any glimmer of guilt and responsibiltiy about anything at all.

I wonder if the states can charge Blinken with election interference since the states are responsible for providing the electors.

Wait til 30 days before the Election.

They’re all AK-47 toting, fire breathing Conservatives trying to outdo the next.

These people don’t change. Might as well post 8 year old articles because they’ve been doing the same thing forever.

Is no wonder why the criminals at the state penitentiary say the real criminals are outside the penitentiary and working in government in DC

Don't confuse weak with complicit. The turtle/graham wing of the party is a willing, and zealous part of the deep state's corruption. And people need to realize that the State Dept. has become the coordinating party of the various alphabets. Call it the shadow government. Call it COG. It is a force for evil in the world, and tearing it down and restoring the Constitutional Republic will not be easy.

Those are all Senators.

The House of Representatives has the sole constitutional power and authority to impeach.

The Senate has no such power

Only 2? If the shoe were on the other foot, every democrat and their media allies would be shouting it until they got their way. Republicans are mostly useless.
