Chicago's mayor-elect said the city should not demonize the teens who organized a 'Teen Takeover' of the Loop over the weekend, even after the event turned violent with cars burnt cars and minors shot.

Maybe the adults in these “communities” need to step up and do something about their own communities instead of waiting and depending on the government to solve all the problems. People can only be shown what opportunities are out there, but it takes the person to have the will and desire to go for those opportunities.

This AM there was a sat radio story on Triumph about the upcoming Boston Marathon on the anniversary of the “twin” bombing. No mention of their motivation by their demonic bloody religion.

Ashamed to admit it but I’ve lived here my whole life. Exfiltrated Chicago (60623) in 1976. Westward to relative safety in Berwyn (60402) until 1988 and since then in Naperville area (60540).
There is no compelling reason WHATSOEVER to go into the killing fields of Chicongo. That is if you value your life.
About 20 or so years ago I read somewhere that Chicago is following in Detroit’s footsteps. At the time, I dismissed that notion as hyperbolic foolishness - because I saw how ransacked Detroit had become. Chicago in contrast was a beautiful lawful (relatively - remember this was around Y2K) clean city. I was wrong. Chicongo is becoming Detroit.
It’s like setting a house on fire. Only until complete destruction happens can a rebuilding commence. I think with this last election the match has been lit and the burning process will take place.
Just like the Hiroshima pictures from 1945 to the rebuilt splendor of present day - after 50+ years. Gotta hit rock bottom first and that hasn’t happened....yet.
