Wagner Boss Claims Russia’s Mission Accomplished in Ukraine Yevgeny Prigozhin says it would be “ideal” to declare an end to the war.

Yevgeny Prigozhin says it would be “ideal” to declare an end to the war. But he says Russia must keep fighting, even if it means humiliating defeat.

Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin says Russia has already accomplished its goals in Ukraine—but must keep fighting even if it means humiliating defeat so that the country can ultimately rise again as a “war monster” that the international community will bow down to.

After recruiting thousands of prison inmates to help fight the war for Vladimir Putin and using his shadow army to emerge as a rival to Russia’s top military brass, the mercenary boss and Kremlin-linked businessman offered his thoughts on the state of the war in a lengthy article published Friday. In addition to predicting that Russia would ultimately come back stronger than ever, Prigozhin appeared to admit that Ukraine may win its territories back, acknowledged that the Kremlin’s plan had failed, and predicted a full-blown revolution in Russia

“For the authorities and for society as a whole, it is necessary today to put a decisive end to the [special military operation.] The ideal scenario is to announce the end of the [special military operation], to inform everyone that Russia has achieved the results that it planned, and in a sense we have actually achieved them. We have ground down a huge number of fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and we can report that the tasks of the [special military operation] have been completed,” he wrote

Even if Russia does win it will take them years to rebuild their military.

I’d like to see Crimea isolated and expensive for Russia to support.
but the other goals are met.
Russia land military is no longer in a position to threaten Europe.
Ukraine is no longer a threat to Russia via NATO.
Most all of non-russian European nations are now in NATO.
Americans can now get out of Europe.
Democrats have demonstrated how dangerous they are to the world.
and how the Chinese are even more dangerous.
Job done.

Just after the WW2 Tehran Conference, Stalin said to a journalist, (roughly translated):

"It's high time the Slavic race was in charge of Europe."

That was seventy-eight years ago. They're still at it.

Never forget that modern-day Muskovite culture is in part derived from the Mongol hordes who over-ran the region in the 13th century. They never really left..

Russia’s announced mission is not accomplished. The Ukes are a de factor member of NATO. If we avoid WWIII somehow, the best we can hope for is a generational Korea 2. Of course, if Trump can avoid having a second victory stolen from him, things might actually work out for us, the Ukrainian people and the Russians.

I disagree. At the end of this, Russia will have the best trained and battle hardened military on the planet. No other army has been through combat like this.

Yes, they’ve suffered losses. But the Wagoner forces, in particular, have shown themselves to be practically fearless. Would you want to face a group of soldiers who have a reputation for winning at almost any cost?

In this largely infantry war, it’s the grit and bravery of the troops that matter. Hiding in foxholes will just get you killed.

Wagner forces have been obliterated. They are criminals in any case with no war strategies nor tactics.

I'm assuming that you mean:

Former CIA Officer Larry Johnson: This Is A Controlled Leak To Prepare The Public For "Crash Landing" Of U.S. Foreign Policy

These people cannot be shaken from their belief that Ukraine will win this. I mean I doubt that this Russian Oligarch that leads the Wagner Group , Yevgeny Prigozhin, ever even uttered what this report from Daily Beat's writer Allison Quinn is stating he said.

The propaganda must continue for the useful idiots. For they will believe whatever lies they have in store for the next time they are needed.

Sunsong even believes that Russia in a pariah nation now, who is weakened and despised. While all the countries are flocking to China to kiss the ring of Xi Jinping, but will be getting their energy needs from Russia. That hardly makes Russia the pariah nation he believes it to be.

These people live in a fantasy land devoid of reality, yet they claim to be conservatives. Really? No wonder this nation is decaying at such a rapid pace.

Lord help us all, is all I can say anymore.

Russia claiming victory will not stop the war. Only total withdrawal from all occupied territories and Crimea will stop the war.

They can’t keep Crimea because it is part of Ukraine and that’s were they launched the annexation from, and from where they could launch a future attack.

Do you realize that Russia has a standing force of 1.5 million. They are fighting Eukraine with a small portion of their regulars, reservists and Wagner.

By the way, this article is garbage.

Achievements of the Special Military Operation:

* The Ukraine-Russia relationship has gone from “I’m mad at you.” to “I’m gonna kill your ass.” Any hope for Russia to secretly control Ukraine via soft power, as they did in the past, is simply gone for approximately the rest of the 21st century.

* Two neighbors of Russia have entered NATO.

* Ukraine is moving politically away from Russia and towards NATO and the EU.

* Russia’s dream of founding their own international economic union, a mirror to the EU and the Eurozone, to take control over the economies of Central Asia via soft power, is dead. There will never be a Russian counterpart to the economic juggernaut that is the EU and the Eurozone.

* The Russian economy is in tatters.

* The Russian people have been transformed from the passive complacency of letting the government do whatever it wants into a polarized and politically active society, with actual political opinions strongly in favor of Putin and strongly against Putin.

* The Russian military is depleted, and most of its modern gear is destroyed. Many specialists and the most experienced soldiers are already dead.

* Russia’s neighbors have learned that Russia isn’t a benevolent super-power, but is actually weak and hostile towards them.

* Russia’s economy is now at the mercy of China, their second-biggest geopolitical rival after the West.

russia was charged with ‘crimes against humanity’ by the ICC

that’s 123 out of 195 countries plus the USA

russia is indeed a pariah state now

Europe has pretty much weened themselves from russian gas and oil

China is buying it cheap

Even the U.S. ignores the ICC, you dummkopf.

Where's the charges for crimes against humanity for the Covid-19 virus or the "vaccines" that are neither safe nor effective, that should be leveled against China, Fauci, WHO, multiple multi-national corporations, the big pharma corporations that provided them, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera?

“Russia claiming victory will not stop the war.”

Yes, they would also have to withdraw. But claiming victory would cause them to, imo

they can’t claim victory and still be fighting in Ukraine:

meaning: any equipment left in Ukraine would belong to Ukraine

and any troops left would be imprisoned

In their minds, the occupied territory would be then part of Russia and they would defend it (as suggested by PMC) because they have declared victory. Russian logic.

Eventually there will be a ceasefire. Ukraine won’t be happy. But it’s not worth destroying their nation just to take back Crimea.
