The Kremlin and its agents have many explanations and justifications for the invasion of Ukraine.
Those depend on the target audience: when they address the far-left, they swear by anti-colonialism. When they talk to the far-right, they speak about “wokeism” and traditional values.
When they turn to Europeans, they claim the US is exploiting the continent and that Washington provoked the war. When they move to the Middle East, they speak about the invasion of Iraq and the “Western Crusades”.
When they look at Africa, they pretend that Russia did not colonise swaths of the Asian continent.
The list goes on.
The fact of the matter is the Kremlin is not driven by any official ideology. It adheres to no principles whatsoever, and it is more akin to a highwayman changing his garb at will if it means getting to the loot more easily.
Delusions of grandeur while slaughtering victims Thus, the big question is: is it all for show? Are there absolutely no beliefs in the Kremlin’s decision-making circles, and are they then motivated exclusively by self-interest?
Or rather, did Russia's Vladimir Putin start the invasion because he is a neocolonialist rebuilding the empire or because he is a corrupt autocrat who wants to prolong his stay in power either by a quick military victory or a never-ending war?
One of the answers certainly can be, "why not both?"

Money quote towards the end:
“And now, we have come to the point where we can justifiably claim that the damage done by Putin’s mafia regime has led to a glaring Nazification of Russia.”
Russia’s not Nazi; it’s Communist. But the difference is so minimal that nobody can see it.
Meanwhile, in Kiev…
The difference between the two, is merely a flag.
Sounds akin to western powers and the government-funded (or DC-enabling), establishment media deciding who are “leakers” and who are “whistleblowers.”
As well, the west swears by the Monroe Doctrine but would never allow others to say their region of the world operates under their Doctrine(s) and that there can be a simultaneous Petroyuan right beside the Petrodollar. Then
Also, make no bones about it, the Iranians are not our friends, but When Iran or others provide arms to other countries those using them are “Iran-backed,” but when the US provides arms to Kurds they are “Separatists” as the media doesn’t call them “US-backed.”
Obama made the claim that Gaddafi was going to attack 10k of his own people but never proved it. No sanctions afterwards, and no sanctions for hyping claims against the Serbs or for making false WMD claims and typing Iraq to 9/11.
And the west MSM also uses Orwellian speak in other areas by calling genital mutilation “gender-affirming” and so on, per the Frankfurt Institute, cultural Marxism.
This is the world we live in...
BTW, Trump publicly confirmed the Obama State Dept was behind the Maidan in Ukraine [which has led to all of this mess]

Ukrainians legally elected a pro-Russian, Ukrainian president who pitched Russia’s aid package as opposed to his opponent who pitched the EU aid package for Ukraine.
I guess the Obama/Biden/Nuland regime were against Ukrainian sovereignty before they were for it recently. This kind of libtard mentality goes right along with this fellow libtard’s (John Kerry) statement:
“I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it.”
In the end, what kind of “Rules based order” does Biden support?
*tying Iraq to 9/11.
Putin spies on Russian citizens and throws political opponents in jail, good thing that doesn’t happen here in America
Russia fought the real Nazis brutally in World War II and the accomplices of the Nazis among the Latvians, Lithuanians, Estonians and Ukrainians among others.
Those folks opposed Communism by choosing the Hakenkreuz.
The Azov Battalion and its followers are no myth.

You sound vaccinated.
You need to grow up enough to learn not to get drunk on the emotive word flow of your own rhetorical flourishes to the point that you confuse rhetoric and accuracy.
If this piece is an attempt at Chestertonian paradox or Nietzsche’s “gaze into the abyss” it has failed badly.

Update on Russian military operations in Ukraine for April 12, 2023:
- Russian forces continue taking territory around the fortified cities of Avdeevka and Bakhmut;
- Russian forces now control much of the west bank of the Bakhmutka River;
- A Ukrainian missile fired deep into Crimea (and intercepted by Russian air defenses) may have been a Ukrainian Grom-2, comparable to the Iskander missile with a range of 500km;
- Despite the capabilities of the Grom-2 and potential NATO assistance to produce them (most likely in Poland) it is unlikely these missiles will appear in numbers large enough to overwhelm Russian air defenses;
- NYT admits Ukrainian air defenses are deteriorating, allowing Russia to more freely use its military aviation;
- While Western analysts claim this development may not translate into Russian success, arriving at this juncture is already very much a Russian success;
There are more 150 monuments and/or streets named after Stepan Bandera, a Nazi collaborator. in Ukraine. The Azov battalion had such strong neo-Nazi ties that CONGRESS cutoff funding for it in 2018.
There were multiple articles in the Western media detailing the neo-Nazi problem before the war began.
All you and your ilk do is lie.
Honest question, why do you care so much about this conflict?
In my opinion, The United States shouldn’t get involved in other nations blood feuds, it never turns out well for us and we have so many of our own problems. Which are rapidly getting worse.
However this war turns out Russia is a demographically declining country with a dim future. This war has only accelerated it.
We only need to wait them out.

Russia, Russia, Russia
They sent $200 Billion away - to accounts unknown - based on 72 hours of Media press lies.
Now, the people that pushed it claimed they didn’t spend enough.
Ukraine is great if you’re cold hearted and want a place to do cruel animal testing and have Bio Weapon Labs.
The leader there was put in place by other countries.
Did giving Hunter and Valerie Biden all that money help them become Energy Independent?
Did Biden lifting all the restrictions on the Nordstream Pipeline hurt the Oceans and Atmosphere?
“The Nord Stream pipeline leak was the single largest release of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. Experts say it pales in comparison to ongoing methane emissions from the oil and gas industry.”
