Approximately 18,000 cows were killed, and one person was critically injured, in an explosion at a dairy farm in the Texas Panhandle on Monday.
The Castro County Sheriff’s Office confirmed with Fox News Digital that the cows were in a holding area before being brought in for milking when the blast occurred at the Southfork Dairy Farm in Dimmitt.
Very few cows in the holding area survived, officials told local outlet KFDA.

Cow shit is liquefied and pumped into giant holding tanks, then the liquid crap is sold to farmers to spread on their fields as fertilizer.
The article said they suspected that the shit pump overheated and sparked a methane explosion in the pit.
Well, there you have it.
over 2 million sq ft
Probably 1,800.
This milk was no dud, apparently.
What would cause it?
I’d bet it was methane from manure holding tanks or something like that. Fumes get out, spread and an ignition source gives you a fuel-air explosion.
What the BLEEP is going on in this country, train derailments, factory explosions, 18,000 dead cows? I mean geez, is it just me or is all this just too coincidental?
Yes, something is most definetly ahoof. Aren’t you suspicous?
and I did correct myself in post 32
There has been a LOT of food based 'disasters' lately and law enforcement is taking an in-depth view and study of them.
This latest explosion is in an area of increased eco-terrorist threats (think PETA).
Early reports from the center of the blast have indicated that somehow cow magnets have been modified to do more than prevent prevent Hardware disease, also called bovine traumatic reticuloperitonitis - BTR.
Traces of a high explosive have been found in the remains (Think hamburger) of many of the cows.
Sources, who - at this time - have asked to remain anonymous, have indicated that this act is simply abominable.
Seems there was a fuel oil leak that got mixed in with some fertilizer.
groan
The left will blame in on a build up of cow farts.
A dairy cow will yield very little meat compared to Angus, Charlois, Main-Anjou, Beefmaster, etc.
You ain’t very enlightened are you? It’s a huge farm. This is Texas.
Oh Dear God. Those poor cows. Prayers for the family of the individual killed. I truly believe this is more sabotage. Too much happening to be mere coincidence. We are under attack.
Totally agree........chicken farms, egg farms, railway explosions....sabotage is right!!!!
No coincidences. Ever. I miss my cows. Loved my cows. Everything is better with some cows around:

It doesn’t help that we’re being invaded, and that it’s being facilitated by our own government and the U.N. (of course).
