“I like women actually,” Carlson said on the podcast. “They’re totally different. I don’t understand like 80 percent of what they say. I don’t need to, I’m married to one — for 32 years — I have three daughters.”
Carlson added, “I think they’re, like, fascinating and interesting because they’re so different. I listen super carefully to what they say.”

The Fox News host was asked by the podcasters what he’s learned about women throughout three decades of marriage. He did not hold back.
“They’re amazing … They compliment us,” he said. “So your average young man looks at women, if we’re being totally honest, as like, ‘They’re dumb. They’re easy to fool. I can talk them into sleeping with me.’”
*snip*
“The reason they feel that way is because women have a completely different way of seeing the world that’s innate, it’s inherent, their brains are different measurably,” he explained. “Which is why I hate the trans thing because it’s pretending that some guy, with a male brain who is not at all in any sense a woman, can become a woman with plastic surgery — no. It’s an insult to the complexity and the mystery of women.”

Holy cow. I paused commenting then read others; the crap you’re getting was unexpected.
You nailed it, generally. Exceptions, obviously (e.g., ‘man-bun generation’, lib millennials/z-ers and STRONG Conservative women).
If tragedy struck tomorrow, I’m much more likely to get another Dobie than to find the latter even after a determined search (which one is preferred is questionable at this point in my life), and I’d be much happier avoiding my basal instincts.
Buongiorno
I’ve often compared women to fine race horses, and men to the mule that’s in the barn out back that plows a field every day.
Feels like somewhere in the 80s women lost the fight to be equal to men in a bizarre need to be men - they dressed like men, spoke like men, started acting like men. The beauty and importance of womanhood was pushed aside in a quest to replace men.
The Democratic Party is pushing it hard - so they aren't sure how to feel about it. They don't want to take a chance of being ostracized by their friends on social media, after all. That's just too high a price to pay. /s
Yeah, I was a little surprised. Perhaps I didn’t phrase it well.
I’ve been happily married for over 30 years so nothing like that is an issue for me. My comment is basically that if women are in charge and rule over men, things don’t go so well. I look at the world today and I think it’s basically a situation where third wave feminism has triumphed. It’s not pretty. We are better off when men take charge and are trusted to lead others.
And I think this goes back to Genesis and the idea that “You will desire to control your husband, but he will rule over you.” But we have constructed a world in which (largely) women got their wish and now control men. No one is really happy with the result, but it’s horribly sexist to say so.
I listened best when I wanted some!...
Hard Times make Good Men
Good Men make Good Times
Good Times make Weak Men
Weak Men make Hard Times
And pretty much since WWII for the most part we had Good Times. Well that’s a couple of generations of Weak Men that were the result, and now, here we are.
It is often said that women control access to sex but men control access to relationships.
Not quite

It is very interesting reading comments on FR. I learn something new every day.
I won’t go into what I’ve learned from this thread.
I’m actually very surprised that women (as a whole) have not risen up against this tide of “trans-worship”, in which men pretending to be women are hailed as “heroes” and proclaimed to be actual women, simply because they say they are.
When a man enters a women’s swimming contest and laps the competition, he is handed first prize while the women in second and third place submissively stand off to the side and smile. How do women tolerate this?
When a boy shows up to a high school senior prom in a dress, he is invariably voted “homecoming queen” and again, the girls are expected to complacently step aside and yield this much coveted crown to this attention seeking boy.
I was at a wedding recently where a young man inserted himself into the traditional bouquet tossing ceremony, in which the single girls are supposed to try and catch it. Maybe a silly tradition but the guy, who was over six feet tall, had no problem snagging the bouquet out of the air over the hands of the women and then he pantomined catching a TD pass, like the bride was the quarterback and he was a wide receiver. Everybody clapped and cheered for him.
For some reason, the women are completely cowed in these situations. They really do need to stand up for themselves as they have the power to end this nonsense overnight.
For example, let’s take the swimming competition. All the women have to do in this situation is just stand there as the pistol shot goes off (to start the race). Let the man jump in the water all by himself as the women turn their backs to him and walk back to the dressing room. By the time the man returns to the finish line, he’ll be all by himself, looking completely silly. All it would take is a little collective effort and the whole ruse falls apart.

I totally agree. The girls/women should refuse to compete against biological boys/men. Period.
I probably should not have phrased it in terms of buying and selling. That could be misinterpreted and wasn’t really what I meant.
My point was that it has been frequently noted in the current dating scene that many young women are all chasing the top 10% or even top 5% of men. He has to be tall, fit, handsome, rich, good-natured, etc., etc. etc. Young women seem to think that they deserve the best of the best. And if you ask them “What do you bring to the table?” they just get insulted. How can you dare ask such thing?? A man would be lucky to grab such a catch!!
But the reality is that men (of all ages) tend to chase women who are in their 20s. Women who are over 30 are much less popular with men. Women behave like they get the pick of the litter, but the reality is that men get to do the choosing. (Many men do not realize this, and they simp for women, but this is a mistake.)
Young men should be taught that they have more control of the relationship. The man has lasting value in all of the superficial areas (looks, money, etc.) The woman’s value in superficial areas does not last (beauty fades).
Men should focus on strong character and career success so that they can lead society. Women should focus on traditional values like cooking and caring for a family so that she can be a valuable partner to a man for decades — for a whole lifetime. This is the path to happiness for both.
But modern society teaches the opposite.

Whatever you do, don’t touch it. Or there will be a large occurrence.
women praised this ‘brave’ crap a few years ago ...
Men don’t understand women and men know this.
Women don’t understand men but think they do. It’s like an Amazonian tribe discovering a brand new Toyota just sitting in the jungle. After a few days of fumbling around they figure out that opening the door turns on the light. Now, they feel, they understand it fully.
Women understand women and they hate women.
In current society, women's voting power has enabled them to compel men to support and protect them, without having to offer anything in return.
When civilization finally collapses, your statement will again be true.
What's to understand? Us men are quite simple creatures, as Jeff Foxworthy said, if they want to know what we're really thinking, we're thinking, "I want a beer and I want to see sumpthin' nekkid."
A beautiful proverb.
