6.Apr.2023: Russia's Prigozhin says no signs Ukrainian forces leaving Bakhmut
Zawya ^ | 6 April 2023

Posted on 04/06/2023 4:28:39 AM PDT by Cronos

The head of Russia's private Wagner militia said on Thursday that Ukrainian forces were not leaving the city of Bakhmut and fighting was continuing in the western part of the city.

"It must be said clearly that the enemy is not going anywhere," Yevgeny Prigozhin said on his Telegram channel.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy had on Wednesday raised the prospect of a possible withdrawal from the city, saying Kyiv would take the "corresponding" decisions if its forces in the city risked being encircled by Russian troops.

The months-long battle for Bakhmut, one of the last urban centres in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk province yet to fall to Moscow, has proven one of the bloodiest of Russia's invasion, now in its 14th month.

"Bakhmut is performing the key task of inflicting as many losses on Russia as possible and, most importantly, to prepare for a counter-attack to take place in late April-May," Pavlo Narozhniy, a Ukrainian military analyst, told NV Radio. Fighting is also raging further south in Avdiivka, a town near the regional capital of Donetsk, he added.

9 months since Russia tried to capture Bakhmut.

This is pretty damning for the allegedly "2nd strongest military in the world"

It’s called stalemate. It’s called quagmire. Assuming the globalists don’t escalate this to nuclear WWIII, this will go on indefinitely. From day one I have said the above. From day one the media stooges have been predicting imminent Russian capitulation.

Did you get your KIA stats from the media masters or are you relying on a more proven source like your ouija board?

“From day one the media stooges have been predicting imminent Russian capitulation.”

No, on day one the media was saying Kiev would be taken in 96 hours.

Alright, the Russians were out of gas day two, ammo, day three, troops, day four and so forth. From week one the media handlers have been assuring us of imminent Russian collapse. Satisfied?

I understand Ukraine (with US support) have been building strong defensive positions there for the past 6-8 years - since the maiden revolution. I also read there was a large tunnel into their fortress for re-supply.

I'm sure that was the original Russian strategy, of the #2 military in the world, from the beginning, ignore WW2 developments in strategy like the blitzkrieg, and end up 400+ days later in a WW1 slug-fest over some small town. Brilliant strategy!

Ukraine ‘Ready’ To Give Up Crimea, Says Zelensky Advisor

LOL, zerohedge?

Kyiv is willing to discuss the future of Crimea with Moscow if its forces reach the border of the Russian-occupied peninsula, a top adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has told the Financial Times.

The comments by Andriy Sybiha, deputy head of Zelenskyy’s office, are the most explicit statement of Ukraine’s interest in negotiations since it cut off peace talks with the Kremlin last April.

“If we will succeed in achieving our strategic goals on the battlefield and when we will be on the administrative border with Crimea, we are ready to open [a] diplomatic page to discuss this issue,” Sybiha said, referring to Kyiv’s long-planned counteroffensive.

He added: “It doesn’t mean that we exclude the way of liberation [of Crimea] by our army.”

No, because that’s not what happened. The media was NOT saying in week one the Russians were going to collapse.

You’re entitled to your opinion but don’t you think it should be based on facts?

At least in the movie, Patton said “We’re gonna hold them by the nose, and kick them in the ass”.

The kick is coming next from Ukraine. Everyone, especially Russia, knows this.

The result, no one yet knows.

That is not a goal of the Special Military Operation.

Putin clearly stated his goals
1) Destroy the Uke armed forces
2) De-Nazify Ukraine

Russia continues it’s advance to achieve both goals

I don’t dine at the media feeding trough. I am exposed to the media parrots on FR though. I can only refer you to the government/media lies being trafficked here on FR. Pick a week in March or April last year review what was being posted here about the Russian paper bear. It’s the exact same crap being spread around here today.

Nope, it’s called the supposedly 2nd strongest military in the world showing that it is really the 22nd strongest military in the world
