There was too much pollen here last night to stand outside to admire it. I had to look through the windows.
At least the rain will help to soak the poo in nice and deep to help the roots...AND to wash it out of the air so you can breathe again.
Well, you could if it weren’t for the pollen. Always something, huh. My allergies have cranked up a bit, but nothing like they would if we had rain and more weeds were growing.
The rain did a great job washing the poo into the soil this evening. There will be more tomorrow morning, once the front starts moving again. It’s stalled right now and wearing out west TN. I’m just outside of the flood watch zone.
The pollen count has been off the charts the past few days. The rain’s giving us a brief break but it’ll be back. Everyone is sneezing and coughing, with eyes watering. It’s a rough spring for allergy sufferers.
But it sure is nice seeing everything so green after the dismal winter brown.
I’m heading out. Gotta get up early tomorrow to head up to the museum to learn about the new items they put in over the winter. I can’t wait to be back in there again. I’ve missed it so much.
Have a good rest of the evening. Catch ya tomorrow.
Yesterday at Wichita Ridge:
How's everyone doing this morning?
Well, today is a bit gloomy, but is a typical April Shower that brings May Flowers, so I’m happy.
National Vietnam War Veterans Day 2023

“I put his video up for some local vets because after watching every major news network on the morning of Vietnam War Veterans Day this year, including our local newspaper, there was not one mention about our special day. Made me so angry, I created the slideshow from photos sent to me over the years or posted on websites I had back then. Our average age is around 73 now & I wonder in about 15 or 20 years when we are all gone if we will be once again forgotten. To my brothers in arms, Welcome Home. Never Forget.”
Good Morning Kathy! (((HUGS))) - yeah, have to go down to AZ and get some folks then to LV to get a couple of more. I’ll be staying over in Vegas as their guest which is always a lot of fun.
