California’s winter is officially one of the snowiest ever recorded, with the snowpack measured at 221% of normal on Monday by the California Department of Water Resources in its annual beginning of April survey.
California’s #snowpack is now one of the largest ever, bringing both drought relief and flooding concerns, however DWR’s State-Federal Flood Operations Center and DWR’s Snow Surveys and Water Supply Forecasting Unit are helping local agencies plan for the Spring snowmelt season. pic.twitter.com/RzSozSDEtM

Oh the rap is much more ridiculous then that.
Now it’s “heavy snow is extreme weather due to climate change”.
Newsom said that the other day and the CAL DWR twerps say the same thing.
It’s the all purpose explanation: start with the assumption that anthropogenic climate change is real, and then any excursion from some mythical mean weather pattern is just the extremes they predict!
It’s a bulletproof meme. No matter what happens, it’s always covered by the party line.
Wasn’t it great back when we lived in the Era of Normal and the winters were all the same temperature everyday, the snowfall was always the same every year, the summers had a nice mild temperature (same every day!), an occasional rain precisely timed to refresh the lakes, and a nice smooth ramp into each season where spring and fall behaved exactly the same every year?
I do so miss that.
Probably because it was a FantasyLand ride that needed an E ticket.
😂👍. Yup. The good old days when weather could be counted on to do the right thing. Seems it’s almost unpredictable now.
1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.
There are several methodologies which have mutually exclusive results.
Don’t be getting all technical on us. Joementia will decide what’s true, facts be damned. 😁👍
California will begin draining the reservoirs out to sea to make room for the snow melt. If these morons had half a brain, they would have built a few reservoirs and fill them up. Instead they are attempting to build a $100 billion choo-choo that no one will ride.
What will Santa Monica Boulevard do?
I’m not sure I mentioned CA DWR.
