The Florida arm of the NAACP wants its national board to issue a travel advisory for the state, urging Black people to avoid visiting or moving to the state of Florida in response to a slew of proposals put forth by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis that they say target Black history education and other diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the Sunshine State.
“All of this is a tipping point,” Yvette Lewis, the NAACP Hillsborough County Branch president, told Yahoo News. “We encouraged more people to vote and that didn’t work because [extremist Republicans] gained more power and this is where we’re at. We had to take a strong stand because it has gone too far.”
Lewis, who leads the largest chapter in the state, presented the idea of an advisory to the NAACP Florida State Conference late last month after feeling as though all other options had been exhausted, and the group voted unanimously in favor of it. The recommendation will be reviewed by the national board of the NAACP when it reconvenes next month.

Funny- I won’t go to Florida because of the blacks. I was there several times with my husband and the hatred of whites was palpable. We haven’t had that in Las Vegas until Biden. I’ve also lived in Africa- good luck if they decide to move back. Bad idea to bite the hand that feeds you.

Blacks in Florida? Hell, that’s nationwide. I literally had three Burger Kings in Alabama and Mississippi say straight to my face that they don’t serve whites. All three places walked away when I approached the counter. One black said the words, “You ain’t gettin nuttin”, as she walked away.

DeSantis throws people in jail who do voter fraud - AND California wants to do reparations...
That’s a consideration.
DeSantis also said if our cars are surrounded by ‘protesters’ and we’re frightened, we can just keep driving.
Oh, and black Republicans are not only welcomed, they hold high offices in Florida and are respected. Same with our black police officers - on the team and respected.
Maybe the NAACP should caution democrat blacks to stay away from Florida.
My “millennial” doesn’t believe me when I share my own stories like this- the SS office not processing my documents, though handing them back and saying they did, sending my print job to another store, etc. as a white, senior “boomer.” Thanks to the Biden, blacks are now openly rude, aggressive and hateful in the town that went to bat for Sammy. Intelligent people move, but unfortunately the hateful and jealous follow to steal, kill and destroy. I think they’re counting on white flight, so corporately suicidal.
P.S. When I talk of bad acting blacks, I am speaking about the low IQ savages, not the other half of blacks that are as American, civil, and wanting everything anyone else wants. They hate the other blacks who have hijacked the black image in America.
