Russia Misses Key Deadline Ahead of Ukraine Counteroffensive

Russian forces in Ukraine have failed to meet a key deadline for progress in eastern Ukraine ahead of a long-touted counteroffensive from Kyiv, according to a new assessment.
Moscow did not manage to "achieve the Kremlin's goals" of exerting control over the Donetsk and Luhansk regions by March 31, the Washington-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) think tank said on Saturday.
The two regions, which collectively make up the Donbas, saw fighting between Kyiv and Russian-backed separatists break out in 2014. They have seen many of the heaviest clashes since the start of the all-out war in February 2022.

Ukraine will launch the counter attack in Spring! All they need is the new Western Trained Army, and the super tanks that are coming. These super machine can not be stopped. What do the Russians have left? 70 year old T-54s. You saw how good they were when Saddam’s Republican Guard—the Hammurabi Division used them—blown to pieces. They folded up and went into retreat when faced with our American Super tanks. Our armor is unbeatable, Our guns can shoot farther and accurate to an inch. When they roll into Bahkmut they will push all the Ruzzians out. The German Tanks can not be beaten too. Super tanks can fly! It will all be over in a week. Putin should just shoot himself and Russia surrender to Zelenskyy and Biden. This Victory will ensure Biden’s second term.
