Asa Hutchinson announces 2024 presidential bid, calls for Trump to withdraw

Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) announced Sunday that he is running for president in 2024.

The former Republican governor, and frequent critic of former President Donald Trump, took aim at the GOP front-runner in his announcement, both indirectly and directly.

"I have made a decision, and my decision is that I'm going to run for president of the United States," Hutchinson, 72, said in an interview with Jonathan Karl on ABC’s This Week, adding that he will make his formal announcement later in the month.

“I am going to be running. And the reason, as I’ve traveled the country for six months, I hear people talk about the leadership of our country, and I’m convinced that people want leaders that appeal to the best of America, and not simply appeal to our worst instincts,” he continued. “I believe I can be that kind of leader for the people of America.”

.

The Damage from the Republicans (Surrender Monkeys) is already done.

The Judiciary is full of Activist Dems and the Dems count on the Republicans no fighting and not using their tactics.

GOP already promised not to Impeach Biden and it just came out Biden’s sister was paid $12.5 Million in just one deal.

For a bunch of people who claim to not want Trump to be renominated they are sure doing their level best to split the "not Trump" primary vote.

You’ve got to love the splitting of the Uniparty (R) primary vote. I expect the main point of contention between these neocons will be trying to out warmonger each other over the proxy war against Russia. Has their Svengali, Bolton, declared yet? It will be fun to watch the FR neocons rumble over who’s the true Bushite prophet and leader. Who will the Uniparty (R)’s big guy, GWB, endorse?

So telling that he waited for Trump to be indicted to not only announce he was running but then call for Trump to drop out based on a bogus indictment. Yea, sure Asa, I want a backstabbing, opportunist like you for President.

Mike Huchabee has stated very recently that he is all in for Trump.

There will be a lot of candidates trying to share 1% of the Republican primary voters. Hutchinson, Christie, Sununu, and Cheney will be slugging it out for the crumbs.

We are safe from ever being in the position of choosing between Hutchinson and the demonkkrap beneficiary of rigged campaigns.

But he could be useful. For every giant “debate” (Trump doesn’t have to show up, really .... wouldn’t that be something .... and he will win), make everyone of the SOB GOPe take the pledge that whoever gets the nomination they will financially, publicly support and that includes campaign. They will wish they never threw their heads in the ring.

I don’t know the answer to either of your questions, but yes or no wouldn’t make any difference to me, actually.

Most of us have zero chance of winning the Republican nomination. But unlike this guy, we are fully aware of it.

This loser isn’t nearly as interesting as previous perennial presidential candidates.

Harold Stassen and Lyndon LaRouche both ran 9 times. This fool is still young enough to beat their records.

Are you thinking of someone else? This is his first try and he's 72.

Asa is either delusional or needs the money he would get to keep when he fails to win; or both.
