Gavin Newsom makes presidential-level moves amid Trump indictment

California Gov. Gavin Newsom and his wife will be touring red states over the weekend and into next week aimed at boosting the profile of Democratic candidates in GOP-controlled areas.

"We're going on the road to take the fight to the states where freedom is most under attack," Newsom said in a video announcing the PAC on Thursday. "Where Republican leaders ban books, criminalize doctors, fire teachers, intimidate librarians, kidnap migrants, target trans kids, stoke racism, condone antisemitism, force the victims of rape and incest to carry their attackers' baby, where they ignore the will of the people."

Newsom jump-started the Campaign for Democracy PAC with an infusion of $10 million left over from last year's reelection campaign.

As for his travels, Newsom is scheduled to stop at a fundraiser in Florida on Saturday before heading to Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi early next week, his spokesperson Nathan Click told multiple outlets.

While it's true that Trump's indictment has been expected for a couple weeks now, the timing of Newsom's moves is hard to ignore.

Go ahead, jump in Gavin.
The democrat party’s almost completely destroyed now anyway, you might just as well pile on.

I don’t think the vote actually matters at this point. Unfortunately, in most of the western world, that ship has already sailed. If The Party, its official organs in the so-called “Mainstream Media” decide to anoint Gov. Newsom as the Chosen One, then folks may as well get used to calling him President Newsom.

/wish it WAS sarc.

If you resume-up Newsom...he’s mostly qualified to be a restaurant manager. He seems to be a carbon copy of Obama in 2007...with no demonstrated skills.

He’s a product of CA’s famous nepotism system, so he doesn’t really need any skills. The people of CA are such nitwits though that he survived two recall elections, although I’m sure there was some vote manipulation going on.

He was completely tyrannical during the Covid fraud, very harsh on dangerous people like churchgoers, elderly people locked up in isolation in nursing homes, etc. But Californians still loved him. They don’t refer to him as Newsom, btw, but as Gavin, and their voices grow soft and fond when they tell you how much he is “looking out for them.”

You have an interesting reply. I recall when obama surfaced as a potential presidential candidate. I figured there was just no way an absolute no body with no real background could ever become President. Then he got the nomination and ran on a slogan “Hope and Change”. I figured such a meaningless slogan would never get anyone elected.

And as history has it, he was undoubtedly one of the most destructive Presidents we ever had.

And now we have Newscum. So disastrous of a gov people are leaving Kalifornia in droves. There is just no way he could ever be prez. Yah, right. If the deep state wants him to continue Biden’s destruction of America, then so be it.

I still think, Gavin Newsom has already been sElected as the next president.
Of course, we still do not know if Michele Obama has agreed to the role or not.

When, not if, they steal enough votes to put this guy across the threshold of 1600 they’ll cite his hard work reaching out to republicans as the genius move that did it.

If anybody meets him on the street during a glad handing with the plebes ask him:

1. Whats the food at the French Laundry taste like?
2. Can you spell Bells Palsy?

Then express wonder that you didn’t know Standard Oil made hair care products.

He and he alone started the gay marriage thing. He ordered city of San Francisco clerk employees to start giving out marriage license to same sex couples.

Red States: Here is your opportunity to empanel a GJ and indict his butt, arrest and jail Gov Goodhair. No matter the charges, make something up. Process is punishment. Arrest his entourage. Impound any vehicle that is ICE powered. Impound any aircraft he may use to jet set his sorry butt around. Don't let him come to Red States without forcing them all to live and travel by Cali standards/rhetoric.
