The Washington Post editorial board is very worried about the indictment of Donald Trump by New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Their concern isn't that a rather lame indictment would be an injustice. No. Their real cause of concern is that the grounds for the first ever indictment of a former American president is so weak that it could end up helping Trump.
You can see their grave concern which was presented just about an hour after the announcement of the indictment on Thursday in the title of their editorial, "The Trump indictment is a poor test case for prosecuting a former president."

It will not be thrown out of court. There is not an unbiased judge in New York’s Democratic controlled judiciary that has the courage or inclination to to void this political prosecution brought forth by a Soros DA who announced in his election campaign that it was his intention to prosecute and persecute Trump. A biased, political judiciary erodes the consensus of values and trust that once united Americans. The foundation of the American republic is crumbling.

As these political prosecutions against Trump backfire and blow up on the persecutors, the narrative will change for anti Trump partisans.
Just watch, before this is over they’ll be saying Trump “got to” Bragg.” Bragg was paid off to bring ridiculous cases, he’s on Trump’s payroll...blah blah.

Well, the Washington Post is correct. I have been moving away from Trump for reasons that are not important here.
This indictment has changed everything. I don’t like bullies. And I will stand right next to anyone who is bullied. I don’t think I need to add anything more.
Misdirection. They believe no such thing. They just want people to accept that Trump will face court time and a perp walk.
Trump doesn’t do his own accounting.
When a Trump Organization lawyer’s bill comes in, the Trump Organization pays it. A big business can’t risk not being able to get legal services.
