Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist, issued a warning after former President Donald Trump was indicted by a grand jury late Thursday for allegedly violating presidential campaign rules ahead of the 2016 election, saying "sow the wind, reap the whirlwind."
Bannon told Newsweek on Friday afternoon that his warning is in reference to the "American globalist elites [prosecutors] who persecute Trump through tools like [Manhattan District Attorney Alvin] Bragg for leading a populist movement that is focused on stripping them of their unearned wealth, power, and privileges."
Additionally, in a post on Gettr on Thursday, he warned that the justice system under the Biden administration "will stop at nothing to destroy" Trump.
Bannon, a staunch Trump supporter, made the remark in a post in which he shared a comment by former Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, who slammed the "Radical left" for the indictment.
"This is a dark moment in the history of our Nation," Lake tweeted Thursday. "The Radical Left and their weaponized criminal justice system have crossed all legal & ethical lines in an attempt to destroy the 45th & 47th President of the United State of America Donald J. Trump. It only makes him stronger."

The shooting took place at the school operated by the church-a gun-free zone, as usual. And of course Alan Bragg’s fat ass got hauled out to wag the dog with his indictment made up from wishful thinking, wet dreams and dem donor cash-I really want to see him get the smackdown he deserves-I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Kevin McCarthy and some others reading him the riot act-hope it multiplies...
I’m not sure the Democrats will ever relinquish power. But, I would like to see Trump win in 2024 and have an inauguration in Jan 2025. And I would like to see Joe Biden placed into handcuffs and dragged off the stage at that inauguration.
And what would that do?
Without the necessary 66 votes in the Senate for conviction and removal it would be the equivalent of a note home to Biden’s wife. In short conservative virtue signaling!
You mean like when Patriots rallied behind Trump on January 6th and got incarcerated and demonized?
J6 achieved its objective in stopping the patriots from marching and exercising their 1st Amendment rights. The wind was knocked out of us.

The time to “peacefully defend” the republic is gone. There will be no peaceful coexistence with enemies of the republic. And make no mistake, these creatures are our enemies, and they are quite frank about the fact. They would celebrate your destruction. We are a nation whose laws are now fungible and unequally applied. The only law that matters now is survival, and by any means necessary.
It would enshrine in history that the prick was impeached just like the filthy democrats did to the Don.
