I was concerned that King Andy was able to veto the bill so late that the legislature would not have the opportunity to override.
I expect Andy's minions to be in court tomorrow seeking to block the law. He's done that on every other piece of sensible legislation from the get go. He, like all of his leftist despotic brethren, believe in rule by executive order and judicial fiat. Piss on the elected legislature writing law.
How did that governor ever get elected in KY
Great news for us Kentuckians..
The Rep ran a horrible campaign, but it’s all good. As long as Republicans control the legislature, that checks him.
You would be amazed how many people don’t know what they vote for their advice comes from ads and media.
Good news.
The first video got pulled by YouTube. Here it is in another posting:
Jennifer Bilek | Who is Behind the TRANS AGENDA?

There were videos of his challenger losing votes as election night unfolded.
It’s was in late 2020 after that election fiasco that someone posted the video showing that losing votes is a real thing.
So there’s the possibility that’s not the Governor Kentucky elected.
Several reasons.
*Family name. Beshears are a KY dynasty. Daddy was governor (also corrupt) People are stupid and vote for family names.
*Matt Bevin tried to do too much of the right thing (reforming KY pensions) too soon. He also went head on with the state employees unions - particularly the teachers union. He pointedly called them what they are - publicly - bad PR. He got creamed for that.
*Beshear won by a little more than 4K votes, carrying some counties that usually vote 90% Republican (yeah)
*Louisville and Lexington are uber leftist.
*Beshear promised to keep the unsustainable pension gravy train running for the state employees and teachers
*If Bevin had left the pension reform until a lame duck second term he would be governor now.

KY had the abortion ballot measure
bttt
Thank God for our Lesser Magistrates.
That is TWO veto overrides today one in SC and now Kentucky!! YIPEEEEEE!! These state elections are of the utmost importance!!
Not as well as you would think. We have a 3 month, part time legislature. Beshear's favorite tactic is writing illegal EOs the other nine months knowing nothing can be done until the next January. He fooked us royally with covid restrictions that way. And as soon as the next legislative session over ruled those EOs he went straight to the hard left state supreme court to get them stopped. Usually successfully.
Florida is next
"We are making sure that they cannot do that without fear of being outed. We are making sure that students cannot see themselves in our art or our literature. We are trying to erase them," Berg said."
SBerg's self-pwn is exactly why she lost her child.
Hallelujah!
EXCELLENT!!
Praise God!

Some of it is being he was not considered a Kentuckian. He was born in Colorado and raised in liberal New Hampshire. He only moved to the state in 1999. I live across the river in Indiana but my parents live in Ky and they felt he was a rino to some degree and just stayed home.
So I think he partially just didnt raise much enthusiasm although sure he would be better than a democrap.
