Actor Mark Hamill has joined an increasingly long line of Hollywood stars seeking to insert themselves into the Ukraine conflict with his voice, mustering a Jedi knight’s sonorous gravitas, now used on an air raid app to warn of incoming attacks from Russia.
“Attention. Air raid alert. Proceed to the nearest shelter,” says Hamill over Air Alert, an app linked to Ukraine’s air defense system.
When the threat is no longer at hand the 71-year-old American screen veteran simply signs off with “The alert is over. May the Force be with you.

He was the guy in “Corvette Summer”, right?

Okay, I’ll admit it. At first glance I thought this was satire from the Babylon Bee.
HE can play in informational video’s I don’t care
I acted alongside Mark Hamill in high school. (His career was somewhat more successful than mine.) Mark was someone who was intelligent and personable, someone you would want to know. Unfortunately over the last half century he has bought into the Hollywood myth that if one is an actor, one is also an expert, and he sticks his leftist self into numerous issues about which he evidently knows very little.

Most underrated movie in history. So much better than "North by Northwest" and "Casablanca" not being fussed up with all that acting and plot stuff.
And built the ugliest Corvette ever.
when you hear it there is no connection to Luke’s voice, it is just an ordinary voice, it could be any old male.

Mark Hamill has always been the worst thing about the original Star Wars movies. Even worse than the Ewoks.
This is the most stupid and unserious BS I have head lately.
I’m surprised! I didn’t know this movie was universally hated. I rather enjoyed it.
That said, it appears the Ukrainians are have a jolly time with this whole thing. War is fun!
Did Mark do the warning in Russian or in English?
