Back to the rust belt.
Businesses that can should respond by packing up and moving to a southern state and then see how the hell they like that.
Governor puts knife to throat of her state
Another insane MARXIST Democrat female governor. They breed like sewer rats.
Move big businesses out of state. Let them feel The Big Hurt and I don’t mean Frank Thomas.
This is what the majority of Michigan voters want. So be it.
Suddenly it’s the 30s all over again!
Not true.
It's what the Detroit fraud machine manufactures that does it.
Are there any formidable barriers to a couple of guys down at the plant filing the paperwork, thus "immunizing" themselves against attempts to force them to pay dues to some giant, communist-backed trade union that would actually work to their disadvantage?
Regards,
This is what happens when stupid people get to vote.
Actually closer to the early 40’s.
Unions had great power. People were questioning
whether John L. Lewis ran the country or
Roosevelt. You’d be surprised how
many labor unions went on strike during WW2.
Mostly over $$, but sometimes over hiring or
promotions of blacks.
Factories making tanks and planes, steel mills
and coal mines went on strike during a war!!! Was a constant headache for Roosevelt.
Lay this at the feet of former Michigan state chair Ronna Romney as well as RINO GOPe who shivved conservatives in the back every time in legislature.
End Result GOPe picked up their toys and went home, resulting in D takeover of both Assembly and Senate and State Ronna Romney as RNC Chair did NOTHING to work for unity or get all on board
Michigan is forever blue now due to incompetence of Ronna Romney- more states to follow
Itโs like watching the Three Stooges but the Howardโs at least had talent. The really amusing part is how the lefttards will call this freedom
The most powerful unions in the state are the teachers’ union and public employees union. The Democrats are beholden to them for their “election contributions” (aka kickbacks).
It has been argued that public employees (which includes teachers) should not be allowed to unionize because the effectively sit on both sides of the negotiating table.
Well Michigan’s voters never do anything about the fraud machine so they must enjoy the suck.
*”Follow the money”
Unions have money. Politicians need money
Unions do not even have to solicit money from members. They just take it. Dues doncha know

Good idea!

I’m inclined to agree. After 2019 we had a “bipartisan” election commission or board of some kind formed, Shitmer seemed to be all on board, so it’s likely not anything good for the citizenry in any way, shape, or form. As of November of last year, we have Prop 1, and 2, which just from reading them on the ballot last year, I knew that they wouldn’t have gone that far if they didn’t or wouldn’t allow to ensure single party rule in this state. After this weeks assault on the 2nd Amendment in this state, we’re a handful of signatures away from California gun laws. What saddens me is that if a some of these people wake up to what they’ve voted for and decide to vote otherwise, they’ll still revert to default mode and think nothing of the (predictable) pre-election announcement of yet another “red mirage” on election day. I don’t expect this state to go for Trump, or DeSantis, or whomever in 2024, or any corresponding Presidential or midterm election from here on out. I’ve said this after 2020: this is permanent.
There are three elements to the work culture; the company, the labor and the government. Thereโs a reason that Europe only has one remaining company still in the Fortune 100. The European labor and government regulation have combined to stifle any change whatsoever. Without the ability to lay off employees so you can adjust your business model youโre left keeping some unprofitable enterprise because labor laws and government regulations to โprotectโ workers have combined to make it ruinously expensive to shut something down. Of those three elements, the companyโs purpose is to make a profit. The workerโs purpose is to keep a paycheck while doing as little as possible to earn it. The governmentโs purpose is two-fold, they want votes from the workers and money from the company. Decades ago, I worked for Honeywell in St. Pete. There was a union shop. No program wanted to use the in house union shop because they NEVER got a project finished on schedule. It was easier and a heck of a lot more pleasant to use an outside shop. As each union member retired the company sold their machine and moved the walls to make the shop smaller. Eventually all the union members, with their special rights and privileges and horrible attitude, would all be gone.
