Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is not making any presidential campaign announcements before the end of his state's legislative session, but he is sure talking like he will be throwing his hat in the 2024 GOP presidential primary race.
And, he told Newsmax in an exclusive interview Thursday night, you can forget about him working with former President Donald Trump.
"I think I'm probably more of an executive guy," DeSantis told "Eric Bolling The Balance." "I think that you want to be able to do things. That's part of the reason I got into this job is because we have action.
"We're able to make things happen, and I think that's probably what I am best suited for."
Host Eric Bolling asked, since DeSantis has yet to announce — current Florida law would force him to step down as governor if he did — would he entertain an invitation from a prospective GOP-nominee Trump to be his vice president?
He laughed it off with the response above.

He lacks humility. A great Governor but four more years of running a state would give him the maturity he needs. The thing is if Biden or any rat gets 4 more years the country will be gone. Honestly, all this tidbit does is make him sound like a selfish entitled elitist jerk. Reagan never ever sounded like that in fact he made a conscious effort to never speak ill of fellow Republicans because he knew it just hurt them all in the end.
Reagan was a Conservative Team Player, DeSantis could learn more than a few things studying him.

DeSantis is either buying his own press or he's insultingly stupid. Is he REALLY insinuating Donald Trump doesn't know how to get things done? Really?
And, make things happen? He had zero accomplishments in Congress and as for his Florida record --- he should be thanking his Republican Supreme Court and Republican super-majority in both chambers of his Statehouse. DeSantis has never negotiated a win against ANY opposition. Even he has no idea if he's got what that would take.
DeSantis has not yet entered political middle school, but he's going to make things happen ---- and better than the best President in my lifetime? *Spit*

Dangerous? How so? Because he kept us out of foreign entanglements?
Was it the steps he took to stop illegal immigration and fentanyl from coming into the country?
Or maybe it was his ban on immigrants from certain Islamic countries who couldn’t or wouldn’t vett their own citizens?
Maybe it was his aggressive deportation of MS-13 gang members?
Or perhaps it was his renegotiation of trade deals with South Korea, Japan, China, Mexico and Canada, and keeping us out of TPP and the Paris Climate Accord?
Or maybe you’re referring to brokering a historic Middle East Peace Agreement, or his historic meeting with Kim Jong-un.
I know. It was his opening up ANWAR and approval of the Keystone XL pipeline that were so dangerous!
