The latest polling from the Morning Consult Survey has shown former President and GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump breaking away from the still undeclared presumptive contender, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
The survey was released following rumors that Trump may be arrested and indicted by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in connection to $130,000 in payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels related to a non-disclosure agreement. Bragg allegedly intends to prosecute Trump on charges related to campaign finance and misclassification of a legal expense, according to Mark Levin.
Levin explained,
“Let me put this in plain English so everybody can understand what’s going on here. It is not hush money. These are non-disclosure agreements. Companies, individuals, divorce parties enter into nondisclosure agreements, 10,000 a day probably, all across this country.”
According to the Analysis from Morning Consult, “As Trump awaits potential indictment on charges related to a 2016 hush money scheme with adult-film star Stormy Daniels, he has posted one of his largest polling leads in the 2024 Republican primary. The latest survey shows 54% of potential primary voters support the former president, compared with 26% who are backing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, tying his expected opponent’s lowest level of support since tracking began in December.”

Trump repeatedly denied making payments to Daniels insisting that as indicated in financial records, rather the payments were made to his former attorney Michael Cohen.

The survey further indicated that while Trump has seen a decided increase, other Republican contenders have yet to gain traction. Most notably they point to former Vice President Mike Pence whose numbers have started to slide.
“Former Vice President Mike Pence’s favorability rating among potential primary voters declined from 60% to 55% during a week that featured news coverage of his condemnation of Trump’s behavior surrounding the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. Over the same time period, the share who said they’d recently heard something negative about Pence, who is polling at 7% in the nominating race, increased from 15% to 24%.”
Trump outright predicted an increase in his polling when he told the Associated Press that charges against him wouldn’t deter him at all. “Oh, absolutely, I won’t even think about leaving,” he said earlier in the week. “Probably, it’ll enhance my numbers.”
Bttt
Ron would be well advised to stand down.
Short Suit Ron messed with the wrong leader.
when the communists moved to arrest the leading opposition candidate, DeSantis saw it as an opportunity to advance himself. Kicked Trump when he was in a fight with the enemy.
Not the kind of guy you want in a foxhole with you.
You know, we gotta get Wily E. Garland to try another stunt about every three months going up to November 2024
It’ll be a blowout they’ll never overcome
Except of course for 92M votes that will miraculously appear overnight for Kamala
Funny - occurred exactly when Desantis started repeating the Ukraine slogans of the deep-state and RINOs.

Ukraine First Ron DeSantis
You lost me Ron
Dead to me. He irritated me so much I blocked him on twitter and have no idea what he says about anything anymore. I would rather hear Cankles or Cackles.

Sorry to disagree but the evil of the Satan following Dems is so strong I believe they will not allow Trump to live long enough to see his second Inauguration Day, any more than witnesses who opposed crime bosses. Oswald, Epstein, James McDougal and Vince Foster have lips permanently sealed.
Not that I’m trying to be controversial here./s

awesome accomplishment...he is beating the guy who isn’t running. </sarc>
all this from a leak of a POSSIBLE arrest of Trump
who’s talking about the biden bank records?
Ben Shapiro

Pay him no mind, he OBVIOUSLY has an IQ in the double digits!
He’s running and you know it. He just has not declared due to election laws.
Meatball Ron needs to ask Yeb! and Rove for more advice and go on Piers Morgan again. Maybe the View too.
It seems his fumbles with weaponization of justice question and flip-flop on the Ukraine-Russian conflict warns us he might not be ready for prime time.
I know this may draw a lot of nay-sayers but I’ve been following Vivek Ramaswamy lately. He’s written a lot against the infection of “woke” and ESG into society and corporate America.
He’s the first politician I have ever heard talk about the need to reign in the power of the Federal Reserve.
Very impressive resume.
He’s said we are in a battle of pro-Americans vs. anti-Americans, good framing IMHO.
He might make a really good VP pick. Don’t see him gaining popularity enough for the 2024 nomination but he could be president in 2028 when Trump cannot run.
Ron DeSantis should absolutely run. Running for POTUS is a big learning experience and it’s extremely rare for someone to win the first time they try. Yeah, Trump did it, but he’s the exception.
Ron will benefit from the experience.
